Ranked under 200 again! yo yo time!
Just my customary blog to share my 200 ranking breakthrough, I think this is my thrid time in the last four months.
I log into WA everyday and perhaps I interacted a little more yestrday than I normally do however as I slipped throuigh the rankings again this week tells me other members are interacting and paying it forwrd which ia all good!
I do put my time to my websites first though as that is my business and you only get out of it what you put in.
I hope we are all preparing for Black Friday promotions!

As I said I do focus on my websites more ad that is what will earn my revenue.
I do like interacting with the community as it’s full of like minded people and we are all trying to accomplish the same results so it’s good inspiration and also good to support each other !

It is shame to admit, but my main website is outside of WA and I don't realy have time to interact with you guys here at all. Today however, I'll be working on a blog hosted on WA so I'm going to catch up a little. I wonder, why ranking here is so importand?
I don't think it is as important to your business but more to show how active you are here in interacting with others.
I like to keep in touch and interact but like you I generally concentrate on my to do list for my business online firstly.
A few days ago I cracked the Top 200 and submitted a post reflecting on how I got there.
For newbies, being able to see their interaction within WA bear fruit, as they go through the training, ask questions, and interact with others, is encouraging. It shows that involvement produces results.
For me personally, it was a quick snap shot reminder of what will happen with my website if I continue to work at it. Obviously with the website, the results are longer term and require a much greater amount of work. But the steady approach of getting things done little by little will be rewarded. It was not really one of my goals - yet here I am, Top 200 (especially the section titled The Overall Picture).
Also, the interaction within the WA community is, in part, training for the interaction that will happen with the audience on your website.
One thing is certain, that the ranking in WA does not improve the development of your website, so you do need to spend time "out there" if you want to see progress being made.

It creates a good mindset for your websites as you say when you interact on WA. I never thought of it like that so thank you for pointing that out.

I know about that yoyo...riding a similar one myself. It is just part of the process. Some days I have more time to work on here and talk to more people -- my rating goes up. Sometimes the rest of life gets in the way and I go back down. Will be gone most of Thanksgiving week, so it will probably really plummet. Don't feel like the lone ranger.
I think when your in that first year here at WA members are focused on their ranking more but as they gain more experience and spend more time on their websites it drops off abit.
