Text Messaging Was My Ah Ha Moment
I am a text messanger. I text everyone about everything. Last night I was sitting down after putting our little guy to bed and I thought I would text message my youngest son to see how things were going. In the middle of that text it came to me.
I logged into Wealthy Affiliate on my phone. Went to site content and just started writing using my phone. Before I knew it I had finished one article I had been working on and started another one. In no time I had put 600 words into my articles.
This morning I was sitting on the couch having a coffee before leaving for work. Brought out my phone and in a matter of a few minutes had another 200 words done.
Yes, of course these articles need to be looked at and edited but so do all the other ones I write. I can type fast on my phone and in most cases with out looking so I honestly think this may be my answer.
I also think I remember reading something that Kyle ot Carson wrote that they were working on making the mobile experience easier so lets just say I cant wait. I know this is going to result in thousands more words written for me.
If you are quick on your phone why not give it a try. Now I dont have to dread getting on the computer in the evening if I dont want to.

That's amazing Dale. I use the notes section of my phone a lot for ideas but I would be slower than I already am typing whole posts into my phone. Is there a secret or is it just fast fingers? :)

No secret. Just like anything else practice makes you better. I do a lot of texting so it actually comes quite easy. I think the part I like best is that for a little while it is distancing me from my computer so that when I need to go edit or something else I actually have the energy to do it.
Phone does auto correct lots of errors but you still have to do a good read and edit any errors.
Good for you. I am not quick typing on my phone. I have thought about loading a dictation app but I'm very visual and love to edit while I type. I think of what to say when I type also. And I need a zillion windows open when I create my content. But I can do research on my phone and send myself links to what I find when i research. I'm purchasing a headset that will work with my iphone 7 also so I can sit in the LR with my husband when he's watching the cardinals play and I can be listening to WA training. I guess that's "almost" like doing something together - huh?

lol it absolutely is. I can honestly see me doing a lot more on my phone. I work 10 to 12 hours a day on the computer and I think thats why I push it away in the evening. Yep I think this will work.
interesting, I am a fast typer on the keyboard - not so great on a phone. Looks like it's working for you and means you can literally type where-ever you are!

Im pretty fast on the keyboard as well but some days it feels like such a chore to bring out the laptop. Well for me, my phone is always with me so hopefully this is my solution.
I know what you mean, all the best with it.
As long as it brings success, it doesn't matter how we do it, right?

I'm on my phone now. I use it to check emails...might have to try writing. That seems to be a good solution for you.
