Hey, my names Dale & welcome to my WA profile.

For me, generating a full-time income online was always a dream but I never thought it would be possible for me to actually achieve it.

Anyway, to cut a long story short it turns out that it was!

Thanks to affiliate marketing I've been able to leave my job as an electrician & now I do this "internet marketing thing" full-time, working remotely from literally wherever I can grab an internet connection.

Whilst it didn't happen overnight it's quite crazy that it happened at all - considering that back when I first started out I'd never even heard of affiliate marketing before.

It just shows that as long as you dedicate yourself literally anything is possible regardless of who you are or what background you've come from.

I love being a part of the Wealthy Affiliate community, the people here are so friendly & it's great seeing new members joining & finding success online.

Hi Dale
Im in the proces of building my first website and it seems that although there are thousands of themes, to get full functionality like font colour changes you have to go premium within each theme. Is this correct? or have i missed something.Other than that i have to navigate around the CSS function which is somewhat difficult. Isnt there a way to upgrade wordpress to premium so i get full functionality within all themes? It seems as though all the theme template owners have their own premium charges only relating to their themes.

Hi Tony, that's entirely dependant on the theme authors. Some themes are 100% free, some themes have Premium options. It depends on what the person who created the theme has decided. The best option is to get GeneratePress & then get GeneratePress Premium (it's very cheap) and you not only get full functionality, but you also get access to GeneratePress Site Library which is a bunch of "done-for-you" themes inside of GeneratePress. It's also highly flexible, you can do anything with it.

Howzit Dale, I have been with WA 2 months now and slowly going through the Training, and I was at the Stage , looking for Affiliates and I ended up on one of your sites, and of course Wealth Affiliate came up. I am very impressed, you've done so well. I will revisit the sites again
My son is also an Electrician in Musselburg, so we have that in common.
So I will be giving you a Follow .
I am originally from Scotland but at present in South Africa.

Cheers
Murray

Now, for another question, Dale. Does a time come when posts should be removed from our website, or do we just keep adding to them? It just seems like a website might become bloated with such an abundance of information, not that my site has even begun to approach that. I just want to understand. Thanks.

Providing the content is still relevant, it can stay on the site for as long as it stays relevant. There's no limit the number of posts or anything like that - it just becomes a matter of organisation (through the use of menus, etc). Posts that become irrelevant, however, should be removed as they ultimately serve no purpose :)

Hi, I'm just getting started and trying to figure out a niche to target for the first site. I want to do something around helping people with back pain but I don't want to go buy a domain yet without understanding things further and narrowing down key words.
Do you have any advice?
Thanks

That sounds like a perfect niche idea & it's actually funny you mention it because I was literally just about to run a search for posture advice. I started searching yesterday & seen that there are lots of posture correctors etc on Amazon, so you could certainly go down that route & there are lots of content ideas that immediately spring to mind. You don't have to worry too much about keywords featuring in your domain - it can be anything you like, but it's best to be relevant to the niche :)

Hi Dale,
Thanks for getting back to me! Yeah I've worked as an exercise physiologist and know first hand how beneficial it can be for someone to find the right advice around posture/back pain. I definitely have a passion for that so I'm glad you have helped me clarify that it's a good place to start.
I'll mull over the domain name today and get started on it tomorrow.
Thanks and I hope you got some good help for your posture!

For sure - and yes, I did actually get some very good advice from a YouTube video. Turns out "anterior pelvic tilt" is the culprit, but I learned some exercises that can help... Plus, these days I use a standing desk rather than sitting down too so that should also be beneficial :)

You do understand that you don't have to buy a domain yet as a premium member, right? You can build up to 25 (or 50) free websites on Siterubix. At the point where you desire to buy a dot com, org, etc., you can just move your Siterubix site to that domain. Hope this helps. Check it out in the training.

Hi Dale! It's been a while. I have not given up on here, I have just been so busy and behind with things that I have no time to spend on the computer since I am still only in the learning stages of how to build websites. I have yet to figure out how the money making part even works lol. Is there any way that I am able to get my premium membership payment reversed? It kind of took the money I had for my mortgage tomorrow...that is how behind we are.

Hey Branden, I literally just seen your other post & commented before reading this. Don't worry about it, I totally understand that life sometimes gets in the way but I am always here you to help you, all you need to do is reach out. Unfortunately, with regards to payments they must be cancelled prior to being taken out (not my rule, just the policy here with it being a digital purchase).
