I can't write. How can I make money?
So, I just happened to look at some old content that I'd published & I have to admit, I am embarrassed.
Very embarrassed!
It turns out that when I first started affiliate marketing, I was USELESS at writing & creating content. Heck, I just discovered that most of my content wasn't even spelt correctly (whoops!).
Yet, here's the deal...
Since then, I've gone to generate well over $1 million in all-time affiliate commissions.
Which is crazy! It's something I "dreamed of", but never thought could actually be possible.
I mean sure, I saw tons of other people making that kind of money but I always looked at the stuff they were doing & thought "meh, I'll never be as good as them, they're way too good".
But here's the problem. I was comparing my beginning against their middle.
And I think that's one of the biggest problems for newbies coming into Wealthy Affiliate.
I hear it all the time...
"I can't write"... "I don't know what to write about"... "I can't get my site to look good".
Well, do you know what?
It's perfectly fine not to have it all figured out. All you need to do is practice & put in the work & then one day (like today for me), you will stop, look back, and realize how far you've come.
The secret isn't "getting it perfect" from the off. The secret is just to try.
...and to keep trying.
I could have thrown in the towel at any moment. That would have been a very easy option... But I know I'd have always been wondering "what if"... And knowing what I know now, I'm so glad that I didn't.
So this is just a really short blog post to stress that even if you don't think you're good enough to "make it big" with affiliate marketing, I can assure you that you are, as long as you persist.
And here's another secret...
I still think every piece of content I create is rubbish. Even the content that I hit publish on & Google puts straight to the top of the results. And that's something I believe most people struggle with. It's difficult to see the value in your own work.
So yeah, do yourself a favour - just keep pushing, even if you don't think you're "good enough". You've got this. 💪😊

That's amazing, I also believe that you got from making no money to making money quite quickly! You obviously took massive action, fantastic! I just went to read your second blog post on Wealthy Affiliate in December 2017! Anything Can Happen! It's interesting that you actually haven't written that many blog posts on the Wealthy Affiliate platform! I guess you were focusing on your business rather than Wealthy Affiliate. Which is obviously the right thing to do!

For sure. When I first started I took HUGE action. I was actually in the affiliate marketing game several years before discovering (signing up) to WA, but I wish I had found it sooner because WA would have certainly helped me shortcut my success by a number of years.

Good for you for taking huge action and making it happen! That's interesting as I started researching Internet marketing in 2004, as I could see the power and the potential of the Internet. It took me three years to actually get my first moneymaking website up which was built by a professional!
I believe that if I had known about Wealthy Affiliate back then, what took me three years to do could have probably been carried out in a couple of months! It would also have been a much cheaper route to go down, I spent a fortune on scam products! We all live and learn.
I'm actually going to sell my offline business so that I can dedicate time to growing my online business. As my work online is far too sporadic, especially when the offline business is busy.

Boy, do I understand...trying to learn to do video "shorts," and it is very frustrating. Getting there, though...it's important to hang in there. I call it my "bulldog attitude."
When I read your title, I thought of telling you that you don't have to write -- they have apps available that allow you to talk, and to record your story. Then it's just like telling a friend a story. If a person really can't write, that's an option to try.

I don't use such an app, but just corresponded with someone lately who is using one with success. Can't remember which one. I bet if you asked a question in the group, you would get more than one response.
Thank you for your advice but is hard to see that l try so much but doesn't work till now. I am rejected from affiliate platform because I don't get traffic for sale. Now l don't have patience and money to move on. Sorry for experience people it works not people like me.

I once had no traffic...
The difference? I didn't say things like "I don't have patience to move on"... I just kept moving on. Success doesn't fall in your lap magically, you've gotta work hard for it & overcome obstacles.
I was rejected from Amazon at first as well, I just kept on publishing content, followed the lessons here and now I am on Amazon+ Awin and have google Adsense on my site. Plus one other, which isn't making much money yet, but that's normal because I have only written a few blog posts yet for them.
If you don't have patience then yes, this is not for you helas.

2 years ago, when I started as a free member for a few months, figured things out, then premium, still figuring things out more than the actual writing, I thought it was hopeless.
2 years later now, I still only have about 150 blog posts written and lots of them are still crap, but it all adds up to getting more experienced ànd waiting for better content that converts!
Over time, you write better texts, find better keywords, and make more readable and expanded content, that people actually want to read.
I still have work to do to even get a minimum wage, but I am slowly getting there for sure!
Back in the days, I was happy to have 50 viewers a day for my site and a few sales, now I am slowly approaching 15000 viewers per month, and rising!
When I look at my affiliate stats, I can see clicks rising each month, sales, ànd average amount per sale, not just the little amounts anymore, but big crafting machines as well, like 3D printers and table saws.
And even the fancy high-end miniaturists that sell miniature furniture for over 600 dollars each, are getting attraction to my website.
I never thought that would happen, but there you go, I'm doing it! And I'm no longer afraid to try selling expensive things on my website, there are always people interested in these for sure!
I am now also aiming for 35000 viewers per month, to get a hold of those higher-priced ads per click instead of google Adsense, I can do it!
Do you need to be persistent? Yes, but these things motivate me for sure!
PS, I am this person who knew nothing about building a site/affiliate marketing/SEO, nada, but here I am ;-)
