Be careful my friends

So, I follow my lessons with great anticipation that I am about to march through the material and prove I am a good student. I listen well and follow my leaders, like Kyle and Carson, and Premier members, but little do I know my own shortcomings. Now this is where I am now evaluating my own pros and cons. I realize that this is vital to success just as much as pros and cons to product and reviews. After evaluating myself, I list the cons and pros and maybe some of you can relate.

Cons:
1. I can be impatient
2. I sometimes find myself not fully listening to my mentors-----not good.
3. I am not looking over my options as well as I could be. that is, options to choose the correct path to properly secure Affiliates. This can be impatience again. And, what I also mean here is that we should carefully look over the material and questions being asked to us when signing on with Affiliate Networks and etc. If you must read the material over and over to completely understand what you should do----than by all means do this. Here is my example of not obeying this rule I now will practice. I signed up with CJ just recently----one of the Affiliate Networks that Kyle brought to our attention. I believed I was being very careful in including all my correct information. I believed things were humming along. Then, because I got a little ahead of myself, I clicked on the wrong age group my site is geared for. I was being to hasty and not focusing. I chose less than 18 years----ugh. This was supposed to be over 18 years.

Sure this was a simple mistake, but look what happened. I want to edit and correct that, but now I cannot find that page or question to edit. Just think all I had to be was far more focused and that would not have happened. Maybe some of you more savvy experienced people know how to navigate to that question and edit it to correct it. If you do I am very focused now and will carefully listen. Maybe I still have a chance to coreect this.

I now practice having a notebook in front of me so I can carefully write down important issues That Kyle and others are explainiing to me so I might detour from a potential problem before it becomes an issue. I am finding this very helpful. Maybe this will help you, too.

The Pros are not difficult to understand.
1. Focus, focus, foucus-----read into the material but do not over-anylyze.
2. Keep healthy notes. Jot down what may be or seem to be a problem for you.
3. Do not be bashful to ask for help. This is what I am doing now in hopes to resolve problems.
4. If you feel a little hesitant to answer a question or you are not exactly sure how to answer the question, then do not be afraid to ask. Even if you think you have good handle on the subject, but there is just a small fraction of you that is not quite clear----ask.
5. Use all the resources you have here at WA. People are here to help. I have yet to run into an individual that does not wish to help.

Maybe some of you can help me correct this issue. I will not ever know unless I ask.

I hope this has been at least a little help to all of you here at WA.

Bless you,

Audrey J.

Don’t be too hard on yourself. All of us go through these experiences. Your sharing will help some to learn from this experience too. You are making progress and that is good. Also important to enjoy the journey.

Great post Audrey!

Looks like your pros far outway your cobs Audrey. Jim

It's a big help, Audrey. Don't worry, I'm sure some of the more astute members of the community will be able to help you get out of this temporary bind!

Audrey, you are doing well! I think patience can be learned, I used to be very impatient and sometimes still catch myself being so but I always calm down and think to myself there's no rush.
Yes, just ask for help, anytime.

I always try to write everything down on my phone notes. It’s okay to sometimes make mistakes, it happens to us all. The good thing is that you saw the mistake you made and maybe now someone can help you fix that. You’re doing great so far, don’t doubt that!
