When placing ads with the adsense plugin I get a message that says:

"Sorry we were unable to save your configuration. The request to your server returned an unexpected r

I just had this same problem yesterday :)

I decided to wait until Google officially approved my Adsense, and then try again :)

(Although, I have feeling this might be more to do with the plug-in itself, and not Google).

I'll try de-activating all my plug-ins, and see

Have you received an email saying that you've been approved for Adsense? That's step 1. Step 2 is to deactivate the plugin and use a widget Step 3 is to wait until Google populates your ad which can take a few days.

You can try deactivating all of your other plugins to see if it works when it is the only active plugin on the site. If it does, it means one of your other plugins is not compatible with the Adsense plugin.
