I run a novel review website and was wondering about using the summary of the novel that the author has given for the book. I have looked at a lot of different review websites
Actually, any copied content is plagiarism, regardless of its purpose, and Google will see it as duplicate and put you back in its rankings.
I believe there has been some recent training on how to add blockquotes to get around this, but I can't find it at the moment. Send a PM to smarketeer, I think he was the one who published it.
Smartkeeter is a great resource, He is awesome. We can use quotes, and if you cite your resources and give credit that is acceptable. You can also ask for permission, that is the best way to make sure you aren't plagiarizing
You can quote the summaries, and if used for educational purposes-that is not plagiarism.
