I'm interested in driving traffic directly to WA's getting started page and I do not have a web page.

What does the private message do?
It took me a while before I sent a private message. I eventually sent it to a high ranking member who blogged about the Vegas conference. I was Able to get very valuable one on one about how he became successful and input about my site and issues I was dealing with here. It was great for the back and forth instead of on the public boards where everyone keeps replying and you have to scroll and look for your reply. Nice and personal too...
It enables you to send a particular person of your choice a private message where no one can see it but you and him.

No, the domain is uniquely registered, for 1 site , it produces the code like a link , hope this helps
Hi Curt. Think of it this way, your domain name is a friendly name for your site; the alternative is to type in the IP address. It's easier to type http://YourSite.com than to type http://172.19.2.5 each time you visit a website. No one is going to remember an IP address; also IP addresses change, so you need a domain name so people can always find the site.
