Hi WA community,

I am currently 3/4 through the way of level 3 of my certification. I have signed up for Google Adsense and AvantLink affiliate programs, but after revi

i also got rejected by a couple of affiliate programs early on as I didn;t really take the time to eloborate on my application. Turns out "I have a website and I want to sell your products on it" is not really enough for an application.

I re-wrote it properly and was approved - that was with a site with only about 10 posts - I was after theire product to pad out one of the posts I was writitng at the time.

Glad you got this sorted out Chad but I was just wondering why in the world "thanks" is a link, lol.

Great question, John...haha! I'll fix that now.

lol.

No company knows how much traffic any one website is getting, so when you register for programs indicate you are getting some traffic to your website.

Also, I would recommend you have 15-20 pages of content on your website before you start applying to affiliate programs.

Hi Kyle,

I would have held off with adding Amazon affiliate links had I known this! I was just following what the training was asking me to do...

Hopefully I am able to sell at least 3 products with Amazon because they mentioned you'll likely be dropped if 3 sales aren't made before 180 days...

I, too, just got denied by AvantLink due to "low traffic." I recall there application, as did others, asked for a specific number of visitors. So as not to lie, I said, "0-500." There was no option for "I don't know." (Which is more true that 1-500!)

I'll keep looking elsewhere, as I already got accepted to one affiliate with good commissions.

Hi Chad, I do believe the main reason by the looks of it you need to add more content and post more blogs. If you go to the WA dashboard click on websites, details on the top where it shows you items about your site, the details at the bottom will give you information about site speed and a few other options. Post more, blog more and it will come. All the best

Yes, you're exactly right. More content and consistency is key. I wish you the best.

Google analytics is one way to check traffic. Take care

David

Good afternoon my friend I don't know if your site is Young or not however if your site is only a couple months in the making this would be the reason why you need to create quality content at least once a week to show your consistence and after a few months of doing this you shouldn't have a problem however a larger amount affiliate programs with the larger companies want to see a track record and that will take you six months to a year may Prosperity be with you always

You probably just need to create more content. The ad companies like to see that you are an established website.

Are you hooked up to Google Analytics yet? You can see what your traffic is on there.

Also, it's a no-no to put your web address in this public space. You can PM it to someone interested, however.

Just keep adding content, and that will most likely resolve your problem.

Thanks for the heads up!

I applied and was not approved with Google Adsense about two months back.
I was approved just yesterday 4 days after reapplying.
Continue posting content and reapply at a future date.

Thanks, Ahimbe!

You are welcome Samson
