YOU make it happen, no one else
I was a single parent who moved to a larger city away from all of my family and friends to make a better life for me and my children. The massive winding freeways were frightening, I thought that FM on the street sign meant that was the station I could turn my radio too... lol! When I left my hometown, I made an agreement with my mother to keep my daughter for 1 year until I got on my feet. I left my only transportation with her because her vehicle had been recently stolen and she needed to get my daughter back and forth to school.
So here I am new city, living with a roommate no transportation, no family! but that didn't keep me from doing all that I needed to do to make sure in 1 year my daughter and I were together in a place of our own. After securing my own apartment, in which I could not furnish, I slept on the floor. I worked two full time jobs, catching a ride to work for one and walking to work for the other.
Needless to say in 1 year my daughter came to be with me, and although there were some struggles...divorce, layoffs etc.. Here I am today with a successful career, several online ventures, have sent two of my three children to college, purchased a home and provided all of my children with transportation of their own and in the process of sending my last child to college in a year.
So I say to you " Success yours if you want it, but ONLY YOU control this. Always remember "If it's to be, it's up to me"
" Don't wait for someone else to make your life Terrific that's your Job!"
