I added my new user profile to WP but I cannot get my profile picture to show up. I had gone to Gravatar to add the new email address for my new user profile which is the same e

Did ya get it resolved?

Yes, I finally got the gravatar to work and authorship going but I am still getting a message at the end of the rich snippet tool stating: Error: Missing required field "updated."

That error I am not familiar with. I did not run into the problem. Wish I could help!

I had the same problem. Then someone suggested a plugin called "simple local avatars". I installed it, and my picture was added. Very simple. This should work for you too.

Thanks Gordi, I will try this plugin and I hope it works because I was so frustrated, that I had to walk away from my computer for a day......lol!

Thanks Gordi, I did the simple local avatar plugin and it worked like a charm. I also set up authorship successfully and the only error message I am getting now is Error: Missing required field "updated." Are you familiar with that message?

Interesting Gordi. New one one me.

Sorry Crystal. I never got that message, not sure of the fix for that. :(. Maybe check the email settings as TM suggested. I always use my own personal email for all my settings.

Question, did you set up a new user profile in your blog? what is your primary email address for gravatar (you don't have to answer that here) that email is probably attached to your admin user name and password.

When you set up a new profile, you need a new username, password and email.. Log into gravatar with your primary email credentials(for comeupblogging.com)- and add an email. You should be able to add a pic at that point.

but your primary/admin email and your "new" user email should be different...

that has been my experience....

All of that was done already!

.......but I used my blog email that was previously set up to be forwarded to my primary email address. I will try this first and if it doesn't work, then I will try the plugin. Thanks.

Everything is good now except the error msg: Error: Missing required field "updated." Thanks. I'm a little exhausted now, so I think I'll get a drink....lol!

Good!
