Hi, if I wanted to add a paid subscription option to my website for access to exclusive content, how would I do this?

You can use a Wordpress plugin to manage that.

Just do a search on Wordpress for paid subscription plugins and check out their reviews.

I also found this article, recommended by another member, a useful place to learn more on what's involved:

Hi, just wondering, if your website is in the adult niche, do you need to do something in settings to reflect that?

Hi - not that I am aware of. I presume you will have to have a pop-up sign-in or landing page to ensure that only people over 18/21 can access the material.

Thanks Diane, think I will have to figure out how to add this.

To be honest, I think you are on dangerous ground if you don't know what you are doing. I just Googled it, and there are a lot of legalities to having an adult site. For example, you have to have disclaimers, such as specifying that you cannot be charged in court if the material on your website affects visitors in any way.

Thanks Diane. I just got this response from support and have added agegate :-)

And my content is certainly not of a level where I would be worried about that. Just not really appropriate for younger viewers.

Hi there
I can't answer your question with the world wide web but here are the WA rules which will help you with what WA permits, or doesn't:

Hi, does anyone know how to add a subscribe button to the site? I've searched and it says you need to add a specific widget but when I'm in the WP back office I don't see that

Do you mean a call to action button. Or a form so they can subscribe to your emails. Just in case I read it wrong. :))

Hi,
Use the text widget and paste the code into it in text not visual. That way it can be put on your site.
You can use some free plugins that are in WordPress for a contact form.
Try this it may help you more.

I started the free site with a different website name. That name wasn’t available to purchase so I picked a new name and it shows the new name in the address bar, nut whe

Hi, Sherina.

Have you moved the free site to the new domain? Remember that you will have to change the links to point to the contents of the new website.
Here is training on how to move your free site to a paid domain: Hennie

Hi again Hennie. Yes I moved the site over and it changed everything but in the tab it still says the original name. But in address bar is the new one. I will check the training again to see if there is something I missed.

What tab are you referring to?

How do I make sure the tab name is the same as my website?

My image logo on my website is taking up half my web page on the home page. Is there any way I can make it smaller? Also can I add more than one image? I can only see to add on

Hi Sherina.

Edit the logo from within your Media library. Make it smaller there and insert it again.

I haven't seen a theme yet that will allow you more than one picture.

Hennie

Thanks Hennie. How do I edit it in the media library as I don’t want to crop it, just make it display smaller?

Check how big it comes out: http://bitcoin4dummies.org

Just think maybe it looks a bit big. What do you think?

I agree with you. In your back office:
Click on Media library - you will see all your images.
Click on the image that you want to edit - it will open.
Click on Edit Image right underneath the image.
On the right hand, you will see Scale image.
You can change the dimensions in the new dimensions space
It will keep the aspect ratio. You can only change the dimensions down not up (bigger). Type into any of the two blocks. The other block will change with whatever you type in. The first block is Height and the second is width.
Logo size is normally around 250 high

Thanks Hennie. Have tried it but it doesn't seem to change it on the site :-/

Did you delete the old one first?
