Does the title say it all or is it incomplete? I for one, believe it's an incomplete statement. Yes the size of your network does determine your reach. But does it generate quality leads and traffic? If your answer is no, then you need to focus on quality. Size alone, does not produce a successful business. Take for example, someone trying to sell you something, that you don't want, all because you're in their network. Point is, in order to be successful you need to be well networked with quality. In this article, I will be going over ways to scale your network very quickly, while maintaining high quality, within your network.

Niche / Audience

The more targeted your niche is at the start, the better the results will be. Your quality of leads is directly dependent on your ability to reach out to your ideal target audience in the beginning, which is difficult to do. So how can it be done? The answer: it boils down into 4 simple steps; product research, product validation, market research and market validation. From my experience, research is more of an idea phase where you are comparing or looking for ideas as to what products you want or what audience goes with a particular product. Validation is confirming if your assumptions about it were true. For the purposes and scope of this article we will be covering the market validation segment in this article.

For market validation there are many ways to do this. The easiest method involves social media. Pinterest, Facebook, Google +, and Twitter can all help you validate the market. Here's how: Take your product idea and search for it in your social media of choice and see what others are saying about it. On Facebook for example, you usually end up with the demographic information as result, once you view the potential customers profile. You also have the option of creating your own groups which come with insights. Creating your group is an easier way to get specific facts on your market. As long as you choose precise keywords, your target market usually follows.

You will need to narrow it down even further. Analyze the conversations in depth. Those who are talking about buying immediately are the highest quality leads, the people you should focus on because they will usually become your brand ambassadors. Take that information and create a group just for them. You will then have your perfect audience, right in front of you.

Scaling Your Perfect Audience

The easiest way to do this is by taking a look at the group containing your perfect audience. Are they recommending people? Are they active and engaged in the conversations? If the answers are yes, then let the people they invite join your close-knit group. People who are referred by someone they know are more likely to do business with you and be a repeat customer. So take advantage of this in your business.

Something you will want to look into is rewarding your network for their loyalty. This could be discounts, promotional offers, affiliate commissions, maybe even a promotion in your group if you can qualify them for it. There are many options to look into when rewarding your audience. Rewarding your audience, makes them work harder for you. Its like a kid who is offered candy for doing the right things. You reward your audience for doing the right things (Supporting your brand). In turn, they will scale up your audience with quality leads. From there, you can market to your entire audience.

Content Is Your Friend

You will want to make sure that you have well written content, with pictures, and video, as well as ways to monetize all or your content on your website. I recommend making sure your content is very detailed, comprehensive and engaging. For the videos and pictures, it needs to be concise. This gives you a better chance of getting into the market. You will rank better on search engines by doing this.

Share your content on social media and attract a following. Rinse and repeat what you can from above. Sharing your content on social media, allows more people to see it, more quickly. Videos are an excellent way to attract the right audience. I know from experience, that reaching 7,000 people in a mear matter of days and getting engagement, is extremely easy. So set your goal much higher and you will do far better. Something I need to point out, reaching 7,000 people and getting engagement was the first social media ad I ever put out and it was an experiment just to find out the minimum of what's realistic. The video itself was a draft and the camera was shaking. Nothing more than a brief introduction to a concept idea. Now imagine, how much better the campaign results would be with refinement and effort. Reaching the amount of people you need and getting those quality leads is well within your reach. My mentors, who are multi-millionaires, do NOT have there videos professionally mastered. They use cheap stands you can get at Walmart. They write a script that is engaging. Then they rehearse that script. After that, they record the video and create the ad. They use methods to develop content and build a quality network / audience, that everyone has access to for under $100

Social Media Marketing

Social media marketing is for those who know the exact specifics of their audience, including how to make the person feel a need or want to buy. This is always a later stage in your marketing. By waiting until later on and knowing your audience well, you will reduce the cost of your campaigns and create more effective campaigns as a result.

So what can Social Media Marketing (SMM) do for your business? It helps you reach a lot of people, extremely quickly. All of which are targeted by keywords and other demographics. Knowledge is key in this area and content is a part of it. You can create many kinds of campaigns: engagement, reach, brand awareness, traffic, conversions, and so much more!

SMM when its paid for on average grows your audience by 5,000 followers a month, if done correctly. People just starting out in SMM, however, should only reasonably expect 1,000 new followers monthly. When starting out, I would seek advice from someone more experienced to guide you.

SMM constitutes for the vast majority of a business's growth when you reach this stage. Conclusion

Great content is always your foundation and leads to free traffic and can produce significant amounts of revenue. That should be only a portion of your marketing strategy though. Because utilizing your perfect audience can and will take you a lot further and faster than just content alone. Paid traffic via SMM, is the crown jewel in online marketing, producing trillions of dollars in sales around the globe every year.
