Would it be better to have one domain with several niches or several domains, one for each niche? I was thinking of making a site with several niches. Seems it would cost me le

I agree better to have one for each unless they are related. $10 is small price to pay to get a name that identifies your business.

That is true. I will have to build up to having more than one though, if I get that far. Working on just the one is enough for me right now.

Just do what you can do or you will overwhelm yourself.

Sounds good. Last night my mind was tossing more ideas at me. I told it to shut up for now, ha.

Jot them down at least so when you have time you have a list to work on already. :-)

I will, thanks.

better to have one for each, but you could pull it off with one site.

However, if that one site came under a hack attack, how would reconcile your earnings IF that site was bring in income for you?
With multiple sites, at least if one went under due to a hack-attack, your other site(s) would be still on line. while yo reload the one that may have been taken out.
I say go for multiple, and promote them all some kind of fierce.

Thank you. That's something that never even occurred to me.

I would use separate domains. Get one site going good with steady traffic and good quality content, then think about starting another domain. One site can take a lot of your time, you can be the judge of that.

Thank you. Good point. I should probably start small anyways.

Personal opinion -- Multiple niches, unless they are *very* closely related, should be put on separate sites. Trying to serve different audiences with a single site will dilute your efforts to reach and serve all of them. (I'd also think it would be easier to maintain your focus by treating each niche as a separate entity.)

Since the cost of registering a domain name is so low (at $10-12 per year), it really shouldn't be too big of a consideration. With your WA premium membership, you can host them all here at no cost beyond your premium membership fee.

Thank you. They were not very very close niches, apart from the fact that they are all outdoorsy. Some are work and some are play, and you're not supposed to mix those anyways. If I do one at a time the cost will be spread out too.

I'm not an expert, but I would think that it would be best NOT to confuse the customer. I myself have a couple of niches that I would like to do but I am going to keep them on separate sites. Don't know if this helps, but this is my thoughts on the matter

Yes, thank you. I think I will follow this advise, and everyone else's, and keep them on their own sites.
