The Owls, the Moon, and Me
It's not yet time to hear the distinct night sounds of crickets, but the Owls in the tree beside my house provide soothing sounds of their own.
Sleep, where art thou?
While the moon rises, I (once again) remain wide awake in anticipation of another day writing and stealing glances at the mountains in the distance.
Funny, how when I still worked outside the house, I felt the need to be in bed by 10pm, and would be dog tired the next day if I couldn't fall fast asleep.
Since making the change to stay home, and now to work tirelessly on WA, I've gotten much less sleep, but feel much more rested!
As an incessant note taker and list maker, I never end my work day without first writing my goals for the next day.
SAC To-do's - Done!
Today was quite the day!
I made good progress on the SAC. I completed my daily checklist, and even took on an unexpected project on the side. (#sidehustles!)
I have a new page to add to my website tomorrow and have started another post.
Now, as I reflect on today, and strategize for tomorrow, in the stillness that surrounds me, I am reminded that...
Life is Wonderful.
Goodnight, and Good Morning!
Cris

Hi Cris.
"Since making the change to stay home, and now to work tirelessly on WA, I've gotten much less sleep, but feel much more rested!"
I suppose that doing something you really enjoy isn't "work".
On the other hand, plugging away alongside the doltish managers I've had to endure recently is like being a slave in the bowels of hell. 🙄
I find it's best to have a sense of humour. 😉
Regards,
Well said Cris!
I love the “Smile to go” and just may steal/share it.
Wishing you great success!

I can totally relate. The amount of time I spend on my business I would never do that for a job. But it's different when you know it's your company and there is a direct correlation with the time and effort you put in and what you'll actually get. It's not determined by the Boss, Company you don't own or office politics. So its a lot easier to be motivated.
So true, Eddy. This is my 3rd time being entirely self-employed, and can honestly say that I've never put so much time or effort into building something. And... all the while enjoying every minute of it!
Nice work Cris! You are so lucky to be able to work full time from home on your your busuness. It’s my dream!
I so agree with you that ‘life is wonderful’.
Thanks, Liz. I hope to make it a permanent situation. I do many things, and would like for WA to be the ONLY thing going forward, so I'm pushing the limits right now!
I wish for you to have so much success that you are able to solely focus on WA, too :-)

I'm sure you'll get there with all
the heart you put in it.
To your success!
