I am currently writing my first blog and I am having alittle trouble with the topic of the first blog and how long one should be. I would really love some feed back. I am writi

I do not think there is any maximum within reason, but I would not go less that 500 words, as Robert suggests. It is very hard to cover any topic thoroughly in 500 words...

My suggestion is to write as much as you may need to cover the topic points you want to bring up and include. In my case, the posts tend to be longer but many might say too long!

As long as you are adding value and have the post organized to have a good headline, an introduction, the body, and a conclusion so it flows for the reader, you will be OK...

Be sure to add keywords you are looking to rank and get traffic for, use them sparingly and naturally in the content, and checking for spelling and grammar you will be OK...

Have a look at some other blog posts that others are making and note that ones that capture your attention. What makes them good for you? Make some notes...

Then start putting your post together...There is a lot of training here that will also help you get started...Over time, as you become more familiar and at ease with writing, it will improve...

It is kind of fun to go back to see your earlier posts to see just how much progress you have made, at least that has been my experience...

When you do that, you can also do some editing to bring up the quality of the post to your current standard. That can help you even more for SEO and just engagement with your readers...

Best of luck!

Thank you, that was good information and I will utilize it.

The more you write the better because Google loves LOTS of content. Definitely do not write less than 500 words, but try to write as much as you can above that without it reading like you are adding sentences just to make it longer.

ok, so am I already trying to sell the project or more like (for my site) tell info on certain items or on a story of what I have used and experienced?

And thank you for your quick response I really appreciate it as I am really eager on this new adventure

You are welcome. You always want your content to be helping your website readers with valuable information and not selling to them. Explain to them your thoughts on a product and if you have used it, give them your pros and cons.

If your talking about your blog for your website, at least 500 words will do. If you could write more, then it will be better.

Good evening to all,
I have been building my first website all day today and I have been coming across people with multiple domains or websites. How easy is it to juggle bet

If you have multiple websites you are definitely going to be dividing your efforts between the websites. If you have a limited amount of time to work on it yourself then this will give you slower progress in multiple websites than you would have by just focusing your efforts on one website.

Edit: I have multiple websites and not a lot of time..lol.

Yea, I have a lot of time so i think i will just not at this time. Thank you for your feed back on my post.

It's common (I think) to have a lot of distracting ideas and thoughts once the creative juices is get flowing. Nothing wrong with that. However, I would recommend writing down your ideas and focusing on building out one website at a time, especially if you'e just getting started. There's plenty to go around. If you come across what you think is a particularly good domain name and are worried about someone else buying it, nothing wrong with getting it and holding on to it until you can use it.

That's my two cents' worth. Hope it helps. :)

Oh yea it helped! Thanks @marcand your message just confirmed what I was thinking and I am glad you said something instead of me just jumping into to many task at once.

Hope all goes well with you also
