JFF: The Dude Comes Through
Just so you know: I am going to be adding JFF (Just for Fun) to the title of any blog I do that is not purely about WA and/ or affiliate marketing. While I try to stay at least peripherally related, I may touch on other things, so this can be your indicator of things to skip over if you so choose.
So...
This is just a follow up to my previous posts about The Dude (AKA the universe) and my goal-setting. I had made my declarations, done my visualisations, and hoped for the best, only to find that they did not manifest right away. Well, after discussing ti with a few people, I spent yesterday really focusing on things that I wanted to attract into my life and made an effort to really feel the emotional aspect of it. Thinking about it and visualizing wasn't enough. It needed the emotion.
Well, today, I was going out for another job interview. As I was driving, I thought to myself about how I really need a job and how I was hoping everything would work out, because I was a bit nervous about this interview for a couple of reasons.
Withing about 2 miinutes of thinking this, I couldn't help but notice the bright orange car passing me. If you've read the previous posts, you'll understand that I took that as a sign of the Dude's sense of humour shining through.
The interview went quite well (fingers crossed) and on the way home, I started thinking about WA and anticipating the number of messages that would be waiting for me. As I thought this-- and I am not joking, it was right as I thought it-- a bright orange truck passed me. Huh, What was that in reference to, I wondered?
When I got home, I opened my email and the first thing to jump out at me was "Invitation Accepted." Someone had read one of my blogs and come to WA.
All I can say now is "Dude, you're awesome."

Awesome .... I have been following the orange .. dude ... dilemma ... and just that you know I used to that as a kid ... I would say if my mom can go through two straight green traffic lights no stopping I will pass my exam today ... that's a sign right !!! You re jigged my memory ... and guess what!!! I am going to revitalise that
It amazes me how our own mindset can work against us and we don't even realize it. Thanks for posting! Keep visualizing success!

I am not too surprised, actually. We are inundated with negativity on a daily basis. It takes a bit of work to overcome it.
For me, what I seemed to be missing was the emotional aspect of it. I could believe in what I was visualizing, but need to *feel* it.

That's so very true, Craig...Our subconscious mind understands emotions. If we visualise a goal, we need to soak it with emotions. We need to see it, feel it , taste it...:))
It's pretty cool, actually.
I'd been meaning to read "The Secret" for a very long time, but never got around to it. After having it be suggested to me a couple of times over the past few days, I watched the movie (the book will have to wait a little bit longer...) and it just clicked with me. I tried-- as was suggested-- to really feel what it was that I wanted, instead of approaching the way I had been. I instantly felt a kind of... joy, I guess I'd say. I felt that I actually connected with those desires on a deeper level.
It was a great experience, and I certainly can't argue with the day I had today....
Joy is the key here, Craig. It means the body accepts, emotions accept, you accept it as yours. I am very much interested in the topic.I very often check my decisions by bodily reactions- the body cannot lie.:)
