Ariel's Challenge and My Responses

I thought that, with the new year just around the corner, I would take a moment to respond to arielharris7's challenge as presented here. So, without further ado, here are my responses:

1. What are you willing to change to make a change in your life?

I am not sure what all can change, other than to be more focused and more serious, and really push harder to get my sites where I need them to be

2. What are you willing to let go of that is not working in your life?

Spending my days job hunting has been a waste of time and effort. After several months, I still do not have a regular full-time job. Since I have managed to start earning money online, I need to throw myself into that completely

3. How much time are you willing to invest to make WA your living income?

A minimum of 5 hours per day. Up to 10 when possible.

4. What are you willing to learn?

Everything I am capable of learning.

5. What is your driving force to success?

I am not sure precisely what the question is referring to, however, my main reason for wanting to succeed is my family.

6. Would you be willing to sit down and create a road map that you follow each day?

Yes, absolutely

7. What would it take to show you that each step builds success?

Ideally, results. I know that months can go by without seeing any real effect of the work you are doing, but I would like to have some sort of sign along the way that things are going in the right direction.

8. What do you need to know you are worthy?

My head knows I am worthy. My heart worries I am not. I'm not sure how else to answer that.

9. Can you commit to 2-3 people in WA that can be "your people" for support and YES WE CAN follow up?

I suppose so, depending on what that entails....

10. Most importantly, are you willing to commit to YOU? and if so what does that look like. WRITE IT DOWN!

Yes I can. Basically I just need to get a solid plan in place and stick with it no matter what.

Some of those answers may be a bit vague, but that's about the best I can do at the moment. I am working on my plan of attack for 2018 and really looking forward to making it the year when everything falls into place.

My (WA) wishlist for 2018:

  • More Traffic! Because it all starts here...
  • Sales! Show me the money!
  • I want to earn at least $1,400 per month by the end of the year. If I can do that, with the US to Canadian exchange, it'll be roughly equal to what I was earning at my last job.
  • Referrals! I really wanted to go to Vegas , but I missed it by 299 referrals. Ha ha (Or 99, I guess with the end-of-year change in requirements.)
  • Feel confident enough to produce training on... something... here at WA, so that I can be more helpful to other people.

2017, we had some fun, but it's time to move on.

2018, I'm ready for you!

Not seen the original post yet but a big high five to you for setting these commitments.
With Grace and Gratitude
Karen

Thanks for sharing this... have not seen it.

Glad to. More people should see her post.

Great job Craig.

Thank you, sir!

This is phenomenal, Craig! I hadn't seen Ariel's challenge so I'll make a note to read it soon.

I've learned quite a few things this year - many, actually - but the one thing that has really stayed with me is the power that relies on consistency. There are a great many things that I need to improve upon, but at the root, I want to excel in being consistent in all the areas of my life. It excites me just to think about the possibilities!

That's actually a good point, and something I should add to my list. I need to be consistent. I can go days without producing much, followed by a flurry of activity. Better to space things out.

I'm excited for 2018, not just for me, but for all of us. This is the year we make it.

I missed out on Vegas too by a similar margin. Well, there's always next year :)

Really? That surprises me. Were you actively focused on going? Because of all people, I would expect you to be able to go if you really wanted to.

Well, hopefully we can meet there next time!

No, I'm not actively promoting WA. The few referrals I get are strictly organic. And I don't think my doctor would let me travel that far anyway.

That's too bad.... Well, who knows what changes a year can bring?
Or maybe you could just join us by Skype or something. We could put your name on a tablet and bring it everywhere we go. Ha ha!

I'll be one of your people if you will be one of mine. I plan to answer Ariel's challenge as you have done here in the next couple of days.

I did answer some of her questions at the end when I replied to her post. I think I gave 5 resolutions for the coming year in my response. Not all of them had to do with business, though.

Let me know if you want me to be one of your WA people in the sense that Ariel is speaking of here.

Anita

Sure. I'm up for that... though I am not entirely sure what she intends. Ha ha. If it's merely a matter of offering support and encouragement, then I am definitely up for that. If it's something else and I am missing the point, well, I'll do my best anyway!

I think what you are suggesting is a mastermind group. An MMGroup works best when it is a small group

I think this is brillant! except for the hot seat part..lol...

She is suggesting that we share our goals and our plans for those goals with each other and be accountable to one another for reaching these goals. So, yes, it is all about support and encouragement.

By knowing what you are working towards, I can offer you specific support and encouragement and if I see you aren't working towards those goals and have gotten side-tracked with something else, I can guide you back towards your goals.

Make sense?

Anita

Oh Yea.... Jay

Great! I am rooting for you man.
David

Thank you!

Great Stuff Craig .. Really impressive and helpful! Cheers, William.

Great "man with a plan" information Craig!

A plan is great. Putting it into motion is better.
*Fingers crossed*
