The Importance of Google Alerts
Alert
noun
3.an attitude of vigilance, readiness, or caution, asbefore an expected attack.
4.a warning or alarm of an impending militaryattack, a storm, etc.:We'd just boarded the bus when the alert sounded.
5.the period during which such a warning or alarm isin effect.
Yesterday I published a new post and used it in a new Facebook Ads campaign. Nothing startling there.
However, this was on the back of receiving a Google Alert that I have set up for Kodi. This alert was for a major security risk (or loophole) in the software.
Well, millions of people use Kodi and this was an opportunity I couldn't miss. It also gave me a chance to advocate the use of a VPN to protect your system and try and boost my email subscribers.
As Bo (Botipton) said "hit the hot buttons".
If you haven't yet used Google Alerts now is the time to do it!

Hi there,
Thanks again for this great reminder on G Alerts
I have signed up to them since Kyle advised it in the Course Cert Training and have been getting them ever since
There is some great information and detail in them and I have written some great posts on the strength of them also.
Cheers.....PB
I LOVE Google Alerts! I use them a lot and it is very helpful for blog writing posts in your niche. I've actually added a few more Google alerts just before I read this post :)
I use it already! Thanks for reminding me. I didn't check it for three weeks!
