Have I been foolish?

OMG!

For the last 7 months I have been monetizing my TV boxes through Amazon US and Amazon UK.

This means losing out on Amazon CA business since I haven't joined that store.

If I had, it would've meant adding 3 affiliate links to each post, instead of 2.

I have had quite a bit contact from people asking if Amazon US deliver to another country so with that in mind I joined AliExpress.

However, I just noticed on Shareasale that Geekbuying.com is a merchant and they stock ALL of my products that I review. Not only that, they offer 4% commission across the board and they ship Worldwide.

Compare that to Amazon at 1%.

Is this a no-brainer or should I stick with Amazon and continually add multiple affiliate links for Amazon USA, UK and AliExpress?

Or I could just add 1 link for Geekbuying and get the extra 3%?

What do you think?

yes...you need to consider how Google will view it...

true

How do you think Google will view all of those links?

no well

Best guess, would be to go with all. That way, you stay on good terms with all of your affiliates. Then, when anything new comes along, you're good to go.

I prefer to keep my affiliate links to a minimum if poss

Go with them all. There should be nothing stopping you from doing that!

Thanks, I try not to add too many affiliate links if I can help it

More is better...I would do a little research to find out what other affiliates think of them, i.e. do they pay on time, offer good support, etc.

Good idea Dave. Cheers. I've signed up with them

If it was me Craig I would go for the extra 3%.

Yeah I think so Harvey

Is it OK? If you get it from both site

Thanks for sharing, Craig.

Maybe you can drop ship them from AliExpress?
That way you could make much more money. You would have to add a real store to your site then.

My experience with other affiliate sites is that they don't convert as well as Amazon.
Amazon is well trusted.

Hi Moritz, thanks, this is a good idea and something I have been thinking about for a long time (dropshipping). I haven't realy looked into it yet. Maybe you can answer a quick question - are the prices on AliEpxress the prices that anyone can buy (retail price)? Or is there a lower supplier price that dropshippers can get?

Those prices on AliExpress are usually the lowest you can get.
I'm not sure if you can negotiate them.
But ask DaveSW about it.
He's the pro in that field. :)

Yeah I know Dave is the man. I just worry about the comeback if there are problems with products. That would then fall on me.

That's true and the risk when you are drop shipping.
But your profit could be much higher, even with some refunds.

I am still studying this subject (drop shipping + Facebook ads).
Once I feel confident enough, I will build a mini niche site with my own store.
I will drive traffic through SEO and Facebook ads.

Go to Alibaba, they sell in bulk and you can negotiate with them as well and also you can ask for some samples before you decide on purchasing a full order which you can test the waters with
