Almost 900 visitors yesterday
I got excited when I read my Google Analytics for yesterday. Sunday always seems to be a popular day for traffic to my website but it broke all records yesterday.
Unfortunately it's not all organic traffic so I'm not getting too excited. My organic traffic was 260 with the top two posts coming from social media Ads. At least, the majority would be from social media, maybe a small amount of organic for these two.
It's hard to imagine getting this many visitors in a single day.

You are doing all the right things to be getting traffic numbers like that.
In due course you might post a little short ' how-to' and detail what you did to get those visitors to your website ( just a suggestion )
You might let us know was it FB ads or Bing ads...was it seo...was it good keyword loaded posts etc etc
It would help and motivate a lot of people here at WA, including myself.

If I said I just followed the training would that explain it? I know, it wouldn't but that's what a lot of people would say.
I'll try and narrow it down. I published a post about Kodi not working in UK any more and how you can resolve it. Kodi is a hot topic right now with a lot of ISPs banning servers that access live football etc.
I then ran a FB Ad campaign targeting UK. Some people may be critical of this because I am promoting material that is subject to copyright but I didn't write the information, I merely directed people to it.
There's a bit of a defiant message coming from the Kodi community with people adamant that they should be able to access whatever they want, as long as they are not hosting it.
The government are trying to say Android boxes with third-party addons are illegal, but that's like saying laptops are illegal coz they can access the same content. Of course, that will never happen.
Anyway, I digress...that's where 223 of my traffic came from. I got 411 from another Kodi article which was in my News category and also running as a FB Ad.

You are well positioned well to take advantages of a shift in your particular niche, so well done for that
we can all take a leaf from your book, so to speak
Its about being ready and prepared for when the occasion presents itself.
Basically for us here in WA, its just a case of following the steps and the training and it will reward us some time sonn

My best day was over 1,400 back in July 2016...just a few months after I started my site when I got lucky and got some social media reshares from a popular pet site.
I have never come anywhere close to that week again!

That's what I am working towards for organic traffic. If I could get 1000/day I am convinced I would be making better money.
My FB campaign has been getting approx. 550 click-throughs per day but on Sunday it peaked.
1400 in one day is awesome Jennifer. I bet you wish you could get that organically and every day!!!!
Right now I'm still in the 200-300 for organic so a long way to go!
My organic has been going up lately and I am so happy about that! I don't have very high numbers yet but I am definitely focusing on organic. Social media driven traffic is fickle and takes way more input of time than organic...for me at least!
