I'm having problems with the wordpress page editor for my pages. I tried every way I could within the parameters of the built in word processor, but could not get a space betwe

Hm, I think you might just not have a very thought-out theme. A simple press of the 'enter' key should give ample space between paragraphs. With my theme, I have no problem with that.

If you wanted to fiddle with the html or css, it would make sense that you could add space before or after using css editing by adding styles to the

tag. I'm not sure of the specifics, though.

Good luck! Remember there around hundred of free themes out there that may be better suited to your needs.

Do you mean that the theme itself has a problem on the page portion of it. I would have thought the word processor in the Wordpress dashboard would work independently of that, but maybe not.

I figured out how to do it with html, but the point is that I didn't think I should have to do it that way. Anyway, thanks for the input.

I like to think of the word processor in WP as just content without styling. Your theme gives style (colour, font, spacing, leading, etc,) to that content. :)
