Nowhere To Go (Nowhere Man)
Most of the things many people take for granted have been absent to and for me, in my life. Family, friends, shelter, money, work, social/sexual satisfaction and enjoyment, and so on. Am I starting out this post by attempting nothing more than a huge dose of self-pity (again)? NO, I really don't think so. Instead of self-pity, I know I was simply stating a fact. What most or the great majority of you online here and offline iun the real world take for granted and have had most of - or all of your lives - have not been there for me in my life. Starting out from the very beginning.
If you are playing a game of poker/cards and you get dealt a miserable or rotten hand, sure, you can throw some or all of your cards in and take your chances of getting a better hand. However, if you try and only wind up with an even worse hand, then you are definitely royally SCREWED!!
As I've seen written many times during my life, for some people it "rains" at times or during their lives. For others, though, it just pours - and pours - and ... you get the idea, I'm sure.
So, time to finish this short post, before I either disgust or piss off some more members. Have a good weekend, now, everybody.

Just 100% totally ridiculous and pathetic.
There are some common things nearly every human-being I've ever met or known my whole life want and need. Things like companionship, affection, warmth, affection, caring friendship, respect, and so on.
As I already said, right from the start, some people are greatly blessed from birth. They are born into (great) wealth or power, for example. Even without this being true, the people iun their lives, starting with their own families, are a wonderful blessing they can rely upon. A third thing or experience some others have is they are blessed being born with great intelligence or other abilities. Enviable starts in life, for sure.
Take - now where the hell did the bolding formatting come on again out of nowhere????
Take two different people, completely unrelated. Expose the both to the exact same cirumstances or challenges. Carefully consider this. Each of the two people may expeience completelydifferent results!! This has been shown to be true countless times, all over the world.
What explains this? To me, a simple answer (or maybe not so, after all). We are looking at the results for two different people. They are NOT the same, number one. Number two, none of us, including the two people being studied, really know how and/or what we will do and/or feel (under any single circumstance or cirumstances) UNTIL we are actually exposed to the situation. Period.
So, it is usually best and wise to withhold your judgment or criticism about what somebody does or doesn't do in a certain situation, in your opinion. You DON'T know and neither do they!
Always good to keep in mind, believe me.
Understanding and compassion always win out over ignorance, arrogance, and stupidity.

Hey Craig. If memory serves, you're using a library computer to work here, right? As such you have limited control over the software on that machine. I'm guessing the formatting issues are related to tags on the lines you're typing in. Does that computer offer a different web browser to try? I'm curious if it will alleviate some of the issues.
You're right, we don't know the other persons life or current situation. As such, we tend to apply our current situation and experiences to fill in the holes.
