It's What You DO (Or Don't Do!) That Counts

The ultimate irony is that today, IF you woke up and are conscious, may turn out to be the last day of your life. What if it is? Every one of us makes some of the same basic decisions literally every day of our lives. Decisions that carry a profound importance, even though so few of us realize or accept this fact.

There is a very, very old saying that I have known most of my life. It is "Talk is cheap." I know many people in my life now and have in the past that love to talk, talk, talk. So little of their words actually mean ANYTHING. Noise pollution and a waste of time to even listen to.

Few people have accomplished anything of significance by only talking about it. All the good intentions in the world count for absolutely NOTHING. Hot air and noise, as I've already said. Unless you get up off your damn ass and do something about what you say you believe in and/or want to do, you will never accomplish anything important or positive in and with your life. Guaranteed. 100% of the time.

KYLE - WHY (THE F***) DON'T YOU DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE CODING PROBLEM WITH NOT BEING ABLE TO TURN THE BOLD FORMATTING OFF??!!!!

Because you obviously DON'T CARE!!!!!

And the ONLY thing that works is having to literally close the post and reopen it. Lame. Talk about inaction.

There are two things over 70 years of living have taught me, beyond any shadow of a doubt. One, the most important thing/gift/blessing/resource/asset (take your pick) you will ever have and do in your life is TIME. Period. NOBODY - not you, me, or any other human-being - is guaranteed the next day. Let that sink in. The time between our birth and death is all that counts or matters to us - and others. Time is the most precious and invaluable thing we are ever given to do what we want with. We can use it wisely and productively or not. We can choose to throw this priceless and sacred gift away until we have none left.

When we die, so do all our hopes, dreams, and goals. They are gone forever along with us.

Todoay in the year 2019, this world is a hurting place. Mankind is not a kind animal or creature at all.

As Phil Collins and his band, Genesis, sung about in their hit "Land of Confusion,"

"There's too many men
Too many people
Making too many problems
And not much love to go round..."

So many problems that far too many people can barely make it through another day. Orphans. Elderly. Poor. Prisoners. Sick. Lonely. Isolated. Sad. Broken-hearted. The list goes on and on all around the world.

No, I really don't think the world needs any more people or problems.

Time has grown much too short. The planet is much too sick. Mankind's lust, greed, selfishness, violence, and evil have all brought everybody to the brink.
