I am wondering when using Site Rubix and adding a domaine name...if I were to choose the free option does that mean that the domaine name would have .siterubix.com after it. I

Domains can sometimes be cheaper elsewhere, but when you compare over a 2 year period, WA is generally more cost effective. Especially considering you get free privacy protection.
Some other domain registrars (GoDaddy is known for this) get you in at a low price point, and upsell you big time. And the cost for renewal is often much higher for the next year.
The added advantage of SiteDomains is that it integrates perfectly with your WA websites and makes your life much easier.
And yeah, it's always better to have your own domain name. Unless you are running a test site or something I always recommend using your own domain.

Since we had a niche website for 13 years I have a whole lot of people coming at me and honestly after chasing health care issues and letting that go it ist is hard to know who to trust.Everyone seems to want something. And I"ve made mistakes. But taking things in my own direction is a start and I need teachers. When Ryan died earlier this year the last thing on my mind was the computer. Then it came,,,"shit my inhouse IT is gone." But here I am trying to figure it out. He would be proud. I a humble enough to know that I cannot do it alone so thanks for the response.
