Hello,

I'm looking for honestly please as I reevaluate my life and priorities. This has been if I have time, which generally is never.
I have so many important thing

Well your success is the byproduct of your effort. If you spend an hour a day on something, anything...do you expect to become great at it? That is not the case.

If you want to create a thriving business, a company, you need to realize that the effort you put into it is what you will get out of it.

Sure, start with the time you have available to you...but be productive with this time...and as you build out your business and start to see results, naturally you will invest more time into it.

Lots of people are succeeding, everywhere...in business online and offline. It is those that work hard, and give themselves adequate time that are creating significant results.

Hey Denay,

Do you want me to be honest in my reply?

I am nice person by the way, just sometimes blunt and to the point, LOL.

So, there is no malice in anythijng I ever say.

I'll give you honesty...

You may not like it, but it's the truth.

Firstly, "success" is different to different people, but I can honestly say that I am "successful" (in terms of what most people would constitute as success) and I achieved this before joining WA for a second time a couple of years ago.

However, that doesn't mean that everyone will achieve success.

In fact, the vast majority of people who come into this business (including those at Wealthy Affiliate) never achieve what they set out to.

Forget everyone singing the praises of WA and various other online programs.

Ask the real questions:

How many members have turned this into a full-time income?

How many Members have qualified for Vegas in the last 16 years?

The REAL answers will SHOCK most people.

I'm sure you'll get many, many replies telling you that you can do it, and that Wealthy Affiliate is the best, etc.

But, the sad truth is that the vast majority of people never make it.

There are many people earning $10,000 a month or more (which for some reason seems to be a figure that people strive for).

But, I can tell you now, there are internet marketers who earn $10,000 a DAY and even some who earn that an HOUR.

However, every single one of these people (myself included) have put blood, sweat, and tears into building their business.

Plus, they have failed abysmally at times as well.

But, those who made it, dusted themselves down and never gave up.

I'll also say that Kyle talks about making money in his first 3 months, and nearing a full-time income within 6 months.

That was 2003.

Trust me, times have changed.

Whereas people are more willing to spend money online now than in 2003, there was a lot less competition around in those days, and getting something like 250,000 visitors a month to your website was much easier back then than it is now (even though there was less people on the internet then).

Additionally, I do like Kyle a lot, I think he's a very genuine and good person, but he's still an affiliate marketer and the owner of this business - so, he will always tell people that they can and WILL be successful (all business owners will tell you their business is the best, you'd be silly not to).

Realistically, success is down to perseverance, consistency, but above all, having the right attitude.

Something I've missed off is the right level of intelligence too.

There are far too many people who have never achieved anything in their day-to-day life, and yet they somehow expect to suddenly become a success online.

Trsut me, it's not going to happen.

I don't mean this horribly - I know myself that I have friends who struggle with basic mathematics, basic reading and writing, etc. this isn't for them.

Now for the honesty you may not like.

I've picked the following pkrases from your question:

"This has been if I have time, which generally is never" -

No-one in 2022 and beyond is starting a new website WITHOUT ANY EXPERIENCE and achieving a good level of success without working on it every single day for around 2 years (but why would you stop working in YOUR business after 2 years anyway?)

"I'm not a blogger type"

There are 1,000s of different ways to make money online, many don't involve blogging or even writing a single word. However, you have joined a community that is heavily focused in BLOGGING. Why?

" I don't have hours a day to spend. I often don't even have an hour."

Refer to my statement about needing to work on your site every single day (even if it's just 20-30 mins) for at least two years.

Do not listen to anyone who says that you can do it quicker. If they do, ask them to prove it, by starting a new website TODAY and JUST Blogging and JUST using ON-PAGE SEO (which is mainly what is taught here) and making a success by the end of the year.

It is possible, but not if you don't have experience, especially of OFF-PAGE SEO.

And now your main question:

"Who has had the success that's promised?"

No-one has "Promised" anything.

As I've mentioned, Kyle is a business owner, so he has to believe in his business and his product.

But, even Kyle mentions many times about the hard work required.

Forget online, forget offline, forget everything.

In any walk of life, whatever you choose to do, if you don't put in the required effort, you will NEVER achieve your goals.

I'll ask you a question now:

You've been here for almost a year now, what have YOU done in that time to help YOU achieve your goals?

Partha

YOU HAVE JUST HONESTLY LAID THE WHOLE THING OPEN AND I LOVE THE WAY YOU X-RAYED THIS.

SINCE I TRAIN AND WORK AT MY PACE OWING TO MY MISSIONARY WORK AS A PRIEST, ONE THING I DO IS TO MAKE USE OF EVERY TIME I SQUEEZE OUT WORKING ONLINE.

I KNOW THAT MY EFFORTS WILL PAY OFF BIG IN THE YEARS TO COME. I AM NOT IN A HURRY AT ALL COS I KNOW THAT THIS IS A JOURNEY, AND NOT A DESTINATION.

THANKS SO MUCH, PARTHA AND KEEP ON WITH THE HONESTY MY FRIEND.

Nailed it

I agree with ParthaB. And Kyle. If you can't make the time to do the work it won't happen for you.
One thing that has helped me is to view it as a hobby. I would equate it with a video game but whatever helps you relax.
Me time.
This way instead of stressing myself out about getting it all done and earning an income right away i'm taking the view that it's my TENSION RELIEVER.
I've gotten into the educational and creative aspects of it and am actually enjoying what i'm learning.
Now instead of sitting down to my vidgame every night i'm working on my website. And when i need to distract my mind at my day job i think about content and what i'll be implementing in my next lesson. I look forward to building my site and filling it with content.
I figure the money will come when i've learned what i need to learn.
But the bottom line is if you don't find a way to put in the time it simply will not work!
If you can find time to cook, knit, watch Jeopardy or whatever usually brings joy and stress reduction you can make time for this. And the cool thing is that eventually this will lead to a better income and lifestyle.

Thank you everyone for your time.
This has taken a lot of thought as I can see WA being a great success for a lot of people.
However it's just not a fit for what's important to me now. And I can see how I keep looking for things to build my dream, instead of just building my dream.
Thank you for everything :)

Hi Denay, I read your question yesterday and my first thought and action were to write you a response, but what I wrote was not an answer to what you are really asking so I deleted it and slept on it after reading all the responses you have gotten.

You have gotten your answer by partly Kyle´s response, but the full answer is what Partha says. I would recommend reading it several times and pondering it for some time.

To me your question and seeing when you became a member tells me that you don´t know what you want yet. And that causes you to not take any action that will benefit the goal/goals you have deep inside.

I would highly recommend one book you should read that will aid you in getting your dreams realized. The book is "The Slight Edge" by Jeff Olson.

It is not a book to solve every problem or challenge in your life or a personal growth guru book. What it will do, is shine a light on what will work for you.

I will not tell you what you should do or don´t. You need to find out yourself and chose your path accordingly.

My immediate response if there are people successful in WA, it is a resounding yes. They put in the work every day to keep going using blogging as a part of their business model.

Other people that use the same methods regardless of platforms, but use blogging as a part of their success recipe is MIles Beckler, Yaro Starak, Michelle Schroeder-Gardner to name a few Darren Rowse.

But please, read the book I recommended "The Slight Edge" by Jeff Olson. It ties very well in with Partha´s dead dead honest answer to you.

Roy

Well, it's hard to expect success without putting hours into it. Online business is completely the same as an offline business in terms of how much work you have to put into it.

There's no financial freedom without hard work unless you have millions of $ to invest in real estate or index funds.

I worked very slowly, and yet, with consistency, I reached the point where I don't need to work 2nd job - that for me is 1st step of success. Now I have much more time. But if you're not a blogger type, this might not be the ideal type of business for you.

I just joined a few days ago but i have found
WA to be the most up right internet marketing school on the net. If you're going to do this however, it's going to have to be a priority, WA provides a very comprehensive training program. It's not free but it is very affordable and gives us an honest chance to get our businesses rolling without outrageous start costs and "tuitions".
I have tried a few other companies and for reasons you already know was not impressed. But this is the real deal hon! And i speak from experience. This is the one your looking for.
You'll get out of it what you're willing to put in and more.
