I started out at WA three months ago with one website called Sexy Novelty Mugs at the-fun-house.com. I quickly realised there was not any room in this niche and I found that females objected to the word sexy. Sadly women were the focus of my market, so I found it very difficult to find subject matter that matched my website description that was not objectionable.
I decided to abandon Sexy Novelty Mugs and then tried my hand at website No. 2 called try-before-you-buy for Exotic Car Hire. I received a much better response to this website. Sadly I could not find any affiliate programs for adventure holidays in exotic cars to create any income. I settled to affiliate with car accessories which was a disappointment because I wanted to be able to offer connections to companies like Red Balloon and Adrenaline which do adventure holidays. Once again I felt like I was banging my head against the wall.
I have now made a third attempt at a website called Herbology, (it is only about five weeks old) and I used my name as the domain. I am having more success with this third attempt as I can easily find affiliates such as iHerb and numerous others that are easily linked to the health industry. Fortunately, this is in an area where I have had training in Pharmaceuticals, and I understand the medical language that is based on Latin and Greek. This makes it easy for me to blog about topics that I am passionate about.
I want people to start understanding the dangers of prescription chemical drugs. Pharmaceutical drugs are more damaging than you can imagine. Thus, I am trying to promote that nature provides herbal remedies without side effects. I know this is flying in the face of everything the medical profession advocates, but I have seen modern medicine getting it wrong more than they get it right. Deaths occur more than the public realises and lawsuits are kept on the down low.
Modern medicine has decimated my family. My brother and I are sole survivors as we both choose to seek alternative cures from natural sources.
I have yet to earn any income, but I am hopeful as I have had a few false starts. The main thing is that I am having fun and I am learning new things all the time which is pretty cool. Wealthy Affiliates has become my online game, it is addictive, and I hope one day it will be profitable. If not, then it has at least been enjoyable.

I don't think there is anything anyone can do. I just need to keep plodding along.
It probably would go much more quickly if I was not working full time. But bills need to be paid.

I like the fact you have not been put off by your false starts. I use modern drugs as little as possible, but I do find the convenience of them time saving.

I am the Queen of false starts, but I am also determined, so perhaps I will have a chance to succeed.
That's the way to do it. Awesome and honest story. Persistence will pay off for you. Not everything we try is going to succeed.
We attempt, analyze, and adjust. Sometimes that adjustment is letting it go. I think you are going to do well. We learn the most when we fail. No shame in it. The fact that you picked yourself up and continued speaks volumes. That kind of drive is going to serve you well. Best wishes!
