The Ridiculous Lengths!
I watched the last few minutes of "Russia's Got Pickles" last night, following dinner and a visit with my daughter AJ, and her family, including my Granddaughter, "The Sue."
There was a talented cowboy, Roy Rogeroski, just 92-years-old, who graduated from Moscow Dental School in 1932, and was working as an anti-dentite reconstructionist.
His talent was tap dancing on Vietnamese pot-bellied pigs, and he was a tip-top tap dancer, being called "one of the best tap dancers we've ever had on this program" by Simon Cowelloscopy. He was unanimously passed on to the next level of the competition.
At the end of the show, we learned that Roy Rogeroski had been stuffed, just like his horse, Triggerita!
I wanted to find out exactly what had happened to this unusual man, who had so much to dance for.
Apparently he was riding on a horse with friends, when the friend who was holding the reins fell asleep, and the horse somehow made a temporary leap into a parallel universe. The horse had just finished a long day at stud in the field.
Roy Rogeroski, who was just behind the snoozing rider, was eating two dozen burritos at the time, and was definitely "stuffed." His friend, who was controlling the horse, and another friend, who was hanging onto the horse's underbelly, survived the giant burrito spill.
Rogeroski had recently performed with the boy band Boyz Will B Boyz, who saw a child's crayon drawing of him, singing their song "On Wounded Knee." Rogeroski described his performance in the December concert as "Literally an a$$ kicking come true!"
Producers were initially unsure whether to air his performance on RGP, but decided to televise it after talking with the taxidermist at Taco Bell.
Representatives of the program made the following statement:
"We are deeply saddened by the tragic burrito stuffing of Roy Rogeroski, who graced the Russia's Got Pickles stage as a contestant. Our thoughts are with his horse."
The ridiculous lengths we go to. (Wouldn't it have been easier to simply allow me to share a story that affected me emotionally?)

Oh Rick.... I guess it's safer to allow you to do things that affect you emotionally... With the writer's talent and shrewd mind like yours it's risky to do otherwise.....lol.:)))
A touching story Rick. But at least lighthearted even though ridiculous! Is there really such a program named 'Russia's Got Pickles'?
Wow Rick! from the wilds of war torn Vietnam where the pot bellied pig escapes discovery due to prolonged warfare to a parallel universe. That is a stretch of a trek!
Wait a minute! Were you flipping channels between "America's Got Talent..Tragedy" and "Russia's Got Pickles" last night? Or did I dream the other post? Lol!
This question has affected me emotionally..haa!
Oh "The ridiculous lengths we go to"........ ;-)
