Like There's No Tomorrow

"Love Me Like There's No Tomorrow"...That's the real title...

I hate it when I can't fit the whole thing on there!

Well, I could.

I mean, there's enough room on the title bar...

(Room for 46 capital "H's")

(Room for 60 "1's")

(Room for 69 lower case "z's"...In case you've written an extremely boring Blog!)

Of course, that's all dependent upon my counts being accurate.

My eyes were blurring a bit. Try counting letters and you'll see what I mean!

But, my point is, only 30 characters will fit under the "Create a new blog" section, just under your Profile Picture.

Any more than that and your title gets chopped off, which could lead to confusion!

For example..."Never Have I Seen A Bigger Association Fee For Homeowners"...A perfectly innocent Blog title, to the unsuspecting Blogger, however, once it gets chopped down to 30 characters to fit into the "Create a new blog" section...Well, I'll let you do the math! (Highlighted in bold for the math challenged)

So, I keep my titles to 30 characters or less, for more effective advertising, in case someone feels like perusing my titles.

(That 30 includes spaces.)

The entire actual title of this song takes up 32 characters.

Rats! So near, yet so far!

That was somewhat of an unplanned tangent! Back to the Blog at hand.

What's interesting about the following song is that it all came to me in a dream!

Not only that, it came to me in sections, with me waking up and writing down a particular verse or the chorus, going back to sleep, then waking up again, and writing down additional parts of the song.

I believe it took me 3 or 4 times doing that before I had the entire song.

Highly unusual...Like it was dictated to me!

Another strange thing involves the words "crystal sea," in the 3rd verse. I liked the sound of it, but thought it was...different, shall we say?

Several months later, I was reading my Bible one evening; more specifically, Revelations, and when I came to Revelations 4:6, I was surprised to find the description of the "crystal sea."

Though I had certainly read it before, I had no recollection of that particular passage. Apparently my subconscious mind had things covered, though!

LOVE ME LIKE THERE'S NO TOMORROW

Don't need the stars to fall from the sky,

Or the rivers all to run dry,

Don't wanna beg, steal, or borrow,

Just love me like there's no tomorrow.

Love me like there's no tomorrow,

Hold me in your arms tonight,

Imagine you never felt no sorrow,

Love me like there's no tomorrow.

Don't need earthquakes, don't need lightnin',

When I'm with you, girl, it's so excitin',

Don't wanna beg, steal, or borrow,

Just love me like there's no tomorrow.

Love me like there's no tomorrow,

Hold me in your arms tonight,

Imagine you never felt no sorrow,

Love me like there's no tomorrow.

Don't need thunder to be free,

No bright, shiny, crystal sea,

Don't wanna beg, steal, or borrow,

Just love me like there's no tomorrow.

Love me like there's no tomorrow,

Hold me in your arms tonight,

Imagine you never felt no sorrow,

Love me like there's no tomorrow.

Thank you, Arthur!

It's fantastic, Rick!
I love all your blogs, but this one is realy, really exceptional, starting with the letters' description and finishing with the song.
If we can call something perfect, as perfect as "chrystal sea" (I checked the Revelation verse you mention), that's it. God's given.
Perfect in feelings, form, rhythm, rhyme, word choice...And perfect images of course. Work of art. Thanks....:))
