How to deselect a post from home page, to appear further just in the category, not on the home page as well?...
I know about the plugin, I just wanted to know if there is another way because I have already to many plugins installed. I heard that is recommended to have installed below 5 plugins; is that so?
First, there so no way you can manage with 5. This is a myth. Second, when you install the converter plugin, you do the job and you deactivate it or/and remove it. No harm.

Go to APPEREARANNCE-MENUS- click the title of the post when you see the drop down click that and have the choices for you to remove it
It's not a delete, just remove from your home page just give a try so that you will know. If won't work then try view this link Local Marketing Training - All Under One Roof
Renelynm, what you are showing me is how to delete a post from "menu"; but I don't need to delete it from menu, I need to delete it from "home page", and still keep it in "menu".

So, as I understand, the only way to do it is to download the plugin...
