Why Do We Choose To Be "Physical Over Mental."

Sometimes, it appears that we just abandon our mental capabilities. In some aspects, being physical just doesn't seem as demanding as exerting ourselves mentally. My point is, as you move ahead in life, you decide to take on another path, which entails the prospect of a brighter future. This is where choices are made. Problem is, we have a hard time "learning". In the case of Wealthy Affiliate, there may be this fear of, 'learning", as it relates to 'back to school' fundamentals. You know them as, "The Three 'R's". Well this platform is in fact, reading, 'riting, and (using statistics), 'rithmetic.

It appears that we're right back where we started...in school, again! We fear we won't be able to handle these lessons. We think it's going to be too hard to learn. Or too much to learn because maybe, we've been out of school so long. We than slip back to our comfort zone, the zone where the routine is more physical than mental. Just get up, go to work, and do what you are ALREADY Accustomed to DOING! So, where is the harm in that? You just dodged a bullet. But you're back at square one!

Earlier in life, our brain was absorbing EVERYTHING YOU COULD THROW AT IT... School was our most powerful ally... Reading, writing, and comprehension were essential. And we mastered it with flying colors. WE WANTED NOTHING MORE THAN TO LEARN! AND WE DID IT! Back than, we didn't call it, "change," we called what we learned, "something new".

Then we got older, and something happened. We flipped the script... Transitioning to a career like Wealthy Affiliate, we don't embrace learning something new, we fear that it's "change", and we want no part of it. Remember, it was once doing "Algebra", and now it's counterpart is, "Building a website". Our mentality won't let us see, 'it is what it is", not much has changed.

Remember, LEARNING IS FOREVER! What would you do if suddenly, your learning 'inbox' was empty? No different from having a car with an empty gas tank... Where could you go from there? Learn to embrace that which is new and rewarding. Starting today, choose a WA lesson from the hundreds available, something that grabs your interest, and feed on the knowledge!

You won't be sorry, and your future won't be short-changed...
