recommended to put a link to WA on every review page ... just on some ... or on a header page only?
Kyle does encourage a link pointing people to your WA review in your reviews of the others!
Hopefully you are setting up your reviews as Posts, under a category of "Reviews", and not each review as a static page.
As to linking, It depends on the overall content of your website. You would want some informational content that provides value and is not there to promote something. It's all about having a good balance.
If you are an affiliate for the subject of a particular review - then you need to take that into consideration - which is more important to you, that the visitor buy the product/service under review, or join WA?
I would certainly include an "internal" link to the WA Review post at the end of other reviews - where it makes sense to do so. For example, if your review findings are that a particular product/service is not as worthwhile as WA, then of course you would want to point the reader in the right direction.
That way, visitors stay on your site when they decide to check out your WA Review post. I think Kyle refers to this as the centralization of affiliate links.
I'm not sure what you mean by header page. ~Jude
While working on my wa site and doing reviews is it .?

The answers to your question just gave me another great ideal. Who said you can't teach an old dog new tricks.

on my site by add media ... it opens it up so the customer can download it or print it ... but takes them off my site ... they have to use the back arrow to get back. Is there
Hi Melody! -
Upload the pdf to your domain - using your WordPress dashboard - 'Media' - add new - copy and POST the URL!
Hi Melody,
If I may say so - The simplest way to do that is to let the pdf file be opened in a new window.
Assumption: You are in Page/Post Edit Mode
STEPS:
1. Highlight the link to the pdf file you've added
2. Click on Insert/Edit link (the Chain icon)
3. Tick on the "Open link in a new window/tab"
4. Click on Update.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Jhen
I would think if you ftp the pdf file onto your site, and link to it, it should open and they can save it without leaving your site, no?
Hi. Here is a video that gives you an easy option.
www.youtube.com/embed/A5wQ9p6d9xs
Basically, the simplest way to do what you are asking is to have the file open in a new window. They then can save the file from the new open window, but a tab of your original content will remain open.
Hope this helps.

I plan to create an opt in form and use an auto responder for my free gifts.
Could you upload it through Filezilla as a document that they could right-click on to download?
You would be better to zip it with something like 7zip. To hide where your zip file is create a folder(mysupersecretfolder) on your site using Filezilla.
Then upload it to this folder, call it anything you like (mysupersecretfile)
If you navigate to that folder in your browser you will see the zip file there. You usually do not want that so create an index.html file, that is create an html document and call it index
Using Filezilla upload the index file to your folder..Now navigate to the folder url again and the index file will load and display whatever you created it to display, usually a thank you and a link to click to download the zip file, or even a blank page.
From your auto responder you would then mail to your subscriber the full url to the folder. You can also mail the full url including your zip file and the browser will download it:
mysite.com/mysupersecretfolder/mysupersecretfile.zip
There are other ways this is the general idea though.
Melody, it's up to you, but, I would not just give it away. Remember I do not use Wordpress, however, sounds like Sergs, Davyrobot, & Nicebiz, have you headed in the right direction there.
I have a giveaway Halloween book set up through my auto responder on the kids about toys website, go there follow it through and you will see how all steps lead back to your website. When I get your sign up I'll let you know.

a number right around 330 give or take a few ... does that mean per month? When I click on day, week, or month the number never changes. Now my site map has been in to google
that sounds weird - when i used to use google it always changed for whatever the time frame
What she means is, whether she pulls up the hourly, daily or weekly chart, the number of monthly visitors doesn't change.
On top you can change the date which you want to see, click next to the box and you can change it on the field, I can't put in a picture here, so you have to look for yourself, Loes
I see the same think Melody. My number doesn't change either if I click day, week, etc. But I do see the number go up. Mine is at 460 or so at this point.

Just wondering ... does anyone here use Craigs list for advertising purposes for their website?
Never have but I have a good friend here that uses it all the time for a variety of things all related to his sites.
I never thought about that! Keep us posted if you try it. I'm interested in your success with it or if you advise against it.
I haven't used it for business purposes yet. I thought about it however. I have bought a couple of things and those transactions were good ones. Best of luck. Feel better soon. Cheers.
Ewwww, no! Heard too many bad stories. My son, against MY wishes, buys stuff from there all the time though. So, although I hate to say this, it depends on what you're selling I guess. I always error on the side of caution as a woman though. ~Debbi
I felt the same way Debbie, but I think they have cleaned up their act. I sold a camera on Craig's list and the guy who bought it was as nice as could be. My sister has also used to sell a few things. But if you're hesitant, best not to do it.
I don't use Craigslist for anything, Mel, but if you get a good response, please post. I might have to reconsider. I know too many people who have been scammed and/or hurt from doing business on there. Plus, as Joseph said, most of the biz ads on there are scams.
I do but the only thing so far that I get out of it is a link back to my site for googles sake.
