Hi everybody! Can some of the WA experts enlighten me, please. A couple of people have recently told me that when they go to my site to leave comments, the text goes down the l

Good afternoon Colleen,

I clicked on your link and in the middle of a blank page, a little green thing keeps turning but nothing else happens?

Greetings from a cooler south, Taetske

Thank you! I just had that happen too. A minute later it was fine. Not sure what's going on with it, but I'm trying to work on a solution. :)

I had an issue with my website theme a while ago. All my posts got all capital letters! I contacted the theme designers and they were able to fix it. Maybe you should try to contact the people that designed the theme you use? I found my designers via the WordPress community where I was able to report the problem.
Marika

Thank you! I'll consider doing that. I'm also wanting to create columns so content is not so spread out and cumbersome, but maybe that will come later in the training. Even though I've looked around, I haven't yet figured out how to do that in the back of WP. Hope I don't have to switch themes.

Try a different theme and see if that fixes it.

Thank you, Marion! I'm receiving theme updates, but I will consider switching to a new theme. Have a great day!

Do you have a link to the page so we can take a look?

I just inserted it in my question. Thank you! My browser setting is 100% and it looks fine. If I decrease the setting it does that, but not when I increase it.

Investigating the code it seems like the theme is set up to show a multiple columns layout.
You should be able to fix it somewhere in the theme settings, but I can't find any documentation on the theme with the author (Pressfore) anymore, so the theme may be discontinued for some reason.

If you can't find any layout settings, I would consider changing the theme.

Thank you for checking my site. I was wanting to do at least a couple of columns but have not covered that in training nor have I found how to set it up in my WP Green Ink theme info. The thought of switching themes is not a pleasant one. Thank you for taking time to check it out and share your expertise. I really appreciate it!

I expect to submit my site soon for SiteBuilder Feedback for the first time. Since I paused awhile on Cert. Course 2 to re-work content and keywords and to switch from WP to Si

Good Morning Colleen.

As we always learn new things, a tip here a photo there, put Tags and Categories, Meta titles and the lot, I wonder if one's website ever really will be ready. I have just started to update my first posts. I do 5 on each website and that keeps me busy. Then by the next week, I write again for my website as they get "hungry" and feel neglected. Never a dull moment you know.
I had my first Feedback months ago and yesterday I read these comments again. They were right and I have improved. Do not wait too long with asking for Feedback as it could very well be a big help when "strange" eyes look at your work.

Greetings from the south of Spain, Taetske

You're so right! Thank you!

Don't hold back waiting for "perfection" You have to get out there interact and get learned feedback!

So true! I'll get on with it! Thank you!

Feedback can jumpstart your website building as sometimes you will get ideas that you did not think before and you might also get a tip on how to implement those ideas. Submit your website now for feedback.

Just be open to constructive criticism:)

Thank you, Belden! I will add the pics and tweak the content a bit more then submit it. Btw---sounds like you've made great strides since joining WA. Congrats on all that you've achieved here and thanks for the advice.

You're most welcome:)

Someone I know is a WA premium member, but he now has other pressing work to handle for awhile. He wants to stay in WA, b/c he has a niche picked out. Can he switch back to fre

Yes. answers this perfectly!

Thank you, Michael! You're right! Kyle answers the question very nicely. :)

I do know that they give you a 30 days grace period before membership is terminated, if payment has not been made, which means that any work he did on his site will be saved within that time. Actually, it's about 2 weeks from the time due, then an addition 30 days.

I never heard of anyone switching from a Premium to a Free Membership, but that's nit to say it never has happened.

It's my understanding that there's no time frame to stay as a Free Member, but once you become Premium, I'm not sure if you can go back, because if your Premium Membership is temporarily suspended, you do not have access to the WA platform.

It would be best for him to send Kyle a PM.

Thank you for taking time to answer, Veronica! Trish posted a link to Kyle's answer to the question which is very helpful. Have a great day!

OK, I just read Kyle's response; I was leaning towards his answer, but didn't want to give inaccurate information because I wasn't 100%. Now we both know!

Now we know! My friend will be back. Like me, he's looked at many other online options, but none compare to WA. :)

So sorry, But once you go Premium, you cannot reverse again

Thank you! That's what I was reading. I appreciate your feedback. :)

Oops, my error. I failed to do a search on my questions before posting here. I learned that the question was answered previously. Sorry about that. Looks like the account can be cancelled, but basically once you go premium you cannot return to the free membership. Please correct me if I'm wrong on this, but that's what I'm reading and understanding. I want to pass the info along correctly. Thank you!

Hey Colleen,

Kyle answered this same question here: Hope this helps you.

Thank you, Trish! Kyle's response is very helpful. Thanks for sharing it with me. Btw--nice to meet you. I'm following you now. :) Way to go on your WA successes!

You're very welcome Colleen,

I truly hope that if you do have to take a time-out from WA that you'll come back.

The courses here are so awesome, and the community are so quick to help each other out whenever needed. You won't find any membership site that can even come close to WA.

Trish to the rescue!!!

Thanks Veronica!

Yes, that's for sure. WA is one of a kind. It's actually someone else I know who has to take a break, but he'll be back. He has a niche planned and is excited about the great training and the helpful community here. :) Thank you!

Aaah good that you're not leaving then. Looking forward to learning from you. :-))

Thank you! That works both ways! There's so much to do and to learn! I plan to be here creating some prosperous sites. :)

Unfortunately, no, it isn't possible to revert to free from premium, too many irrevocable changes are made to the account. Sorry!

Thank you, Rich! That's what it sounded like. I'll let him know.

No probs. just sorry it wasn't better news. :(

He'll be back. He's looking forward to all that he can do in WA! :)

Fantastic! :)

Hi! I joined in June and am doing the training, but I'm wondering if those who have been here awhile could tell me if there will be any need to use LeadPages with what we do in

Everyone ill stronl]gly recommend you to use a capture format landing page somewhere on your site. The program you use is totally up to you. WA training helps you use the tools you need, wherever you get them to build and earn!

Hi Mickey! Sounds like I need to keep my LP account. Thank you for your input! Have a productive WA week!

Yeah, no problem. I have an account with them as well.

If you have a leadpages account I strongly strongly suggest keeping it. Wealthy affiliate is very good at giving you the basics of building a website. However beyond that point in order to be great you will have to get more information from elsewhere.

Alrighty then... I'll stick to using Lead Pages. Their pages have proven results. That's what I want---results! Thank you so much for your help and insight! Much success to you!

It's totally up to you whether you want to use Lead Pages or a similar service for building capture/landing pages and building a list. You certainly aren't required to, but I think that if you're going to put effort into building an online business...then you'll want to build your own list at the same time. If your question was whether something like Lead Pages was already included here in WA, the answer is no. You'll need to use an outside service like that if you want it.

Hi Mary...Yes, that was another aspect of my question. Whether WA had something included like that further down the road. Sounds like I should keep my LeadPages account that I've used for non-WA websites. Thank you so much for your input!
