The Big Little Story Behind

When I first delved into the world of affiliate marketing, I was struck by a crucial realization - the paramount importance of crafting content of the highest quality that imparts value to readers. Recently, when I started my training in Wealthy Affiliate Bootcamp, I stumbled upon one of the most crucial steps in achieving success in online business: the Importance of Creating High-quality content that provides value to readers. It brought back bitter memories of invaluable advice imparted to me by a friend of mine back in 2006, who had achieved great success in the online business. Unfortunately, I had not heeded his words at the time, as I was fully consumed and enamored by my desire to excel in my career as a public sector engineer. I refer to this as the "delusion of success, and if necessary, I'll delve into WHY in a future installment.

At the time, I often dismissed his advice with nonchalance and even a hint of disdain. It was not out of arrogance on my part, but rather that I had not yet attained the same level of maturity as he, despite being of similar age. We were operating on different wavelengths and hailing from dissimilar backgrounds. Being the eldest of his siblings, he had to abandon his education after completing his baccalaureate to support his family financially. On the other hand, I had the choice to persist in my university studies.

Have You got a Clue of the Advice I'm Hinting at?

One night, my friend and I were discussing and joking about habitual topics over drinks. I had just finished complaining ironically about the stresses of my job in the public sector. My friend, who usually seems relaxed and who has always been a master of local dialect words, asked me, "Hey, old chum, let me tell you one thing honestly, I don't comprehend your plight. Why are you usually so fraught with tension, like a moth trapped in oil? What is your pursuit?".

I wanted to change this embarrassing subject, but he went on, with his sly grin and a devilish twinkle in his eye, asking me, "I often wonder how much engineers make per month in the public sector! A king's ransom? A drop in the ocean?" I couldn't help but laugh at his clever words. I was caught off guard, but I discerned the glint of sarcasm in his grin and knew he was trying to make a point. He was trying to paint a picture of my financial situation.

He then continued earnestly, dispensing advice like a father to his little son. You have the potential to soar to great heights, but you're holding yourself back. I always received it poorly and made excuses to avoid meeting him. I cannot quite identify whether pride or envy prevented me from admitting he was correct.

Deep down, I knew he spoke the truth, He took the plunge into the business world early at a young age, and life sharpened him into a seasoned businessman. Yes, He always had my best interests at heart, but my stubborn pride kept me from seeing that. He always believed I had the potential to be a successful copywriter. I could tap into my hidden talents and, with just a fraction of the effort and determination he witnessed me putting into my public sector job, I could reach financial independence and the success I had always dreamed of.

The Powerful Meaning: What You Really Need To Learn

At first glance, the advice may seem simplistic, and I understand why you might think that. But the shame is, it took me over a decade to truly grasp its wisdom's value, liberate myself from the illusion I had been living under, and embark on the journey toward true success with humility and dedication.

Since embarking on my quest to establish a successful online business, I have dedicated myself to continue educating myself on the subject, conducting thorough research, seeking advice from experts, and delving into the works of some of the greatest copywriters in history. I admire the likes of Robert Collier, Eugene Schwartz, David Ogilvy, Joe Sugarman, Dan Kennedy, and Clayton Makepeace, Gary Bencivenga.

A TRUTH UNFOLDING - almost like a universal law of physics - that continuously reinforces itself is that copywriting and advertising remain the cornerstone of any business. And if I use the expression of my mentor in this field: COPYWRITING AND ADVERTISING are to online businesses what ENGINES are to an AIRPLANE; without them, it cannot TAKE OFF an inch!

To be more specific, I will emphasize COPYWRITING in AFFILIATE MARKETING, especially when starting from scratch and without capital. I join the experts' voice in saying that it's the FASTTRACK to succeed in online business."

I would say I've been interested in this topic for a few years now. I was even lucky enough to have Christian Godefroy as my mentor. I've been continuously learning from the best in the field of Copywriting. Recently, I've been focusing a lot more on affiliate marketing, and I'm proud to be a part of the WA family, surrounded by experts in various relevant fields related to affiliate marketing..

But before I can finish this episode, let me clarify one thing: I am not an expert; I prefer to remain a student and keep learning continuously. My curiosity about the art of sales never fades; I'm constantly seeking to understand what works today and what doesn't, striving to be the best student I can be.

The idea of answering the question "How to Create High-Quality Content that Adds Value to people, to the point where they eagerly want to pay for it" is truly fascinating to me. And from this perspective, I would be delighted to share solutions and techniques that yield results, NEXT EPISODES.
