Hello WA. Last month I wanted to cancel membership for a while but I decided to run one more month. Now I want to cancel it. But what I don't know is if I will get my website b

Better be reading the pros and cons of canceling your website. It might be too late.

Your website will be removed from the servers as soon as your membership expires. You'll need to create a backup and store it on your own computer and move it to another hosting provider if you want it to stay active. http://marionblackonline.com/move

Your website will get deleted yes. You have a 60 Day Grace Period I believe. If you reactivate your account within 60 days, you can contact SiteSupport who will restore your website from a backup.

Personally, I would backup your website yourself, and keep your own copy of it. Or if the website is live, indexed and receiving visitors, you will want to move this to another hosting provider in the meantime, so that you website remains accessible.

Thank you for advice. But I do not understand something. If I make a backup of my website (and keep it in my computer), and I will return after a year, for example, I will be able to recover my website, through my backup?
If I leave for more than 60 days, WA will permanently delete my website or just backups?

Yes, if you make a backup of your own website, I would use the All in One Migration Plugin, you can keep the file on your own computer.

When you return, you can create your website here again, install the All in One Migration Plugin, and upload your backup file from your computer. This will restore your website.

As for domain names, if you are using the free SiteRubix subdomain, you might loose this name, as someone else might register it after 60 days.

If you have purchased your own dot com, this will need renewing 1 year after you purchased it. If you do not renew it, it will become available for another person to purchase it.

If you cancel your account at WA, they will shutdown your website immediately. Your backups will be retained for 60 days only. Which is why you need to keep your own backup.

Ok. Thank you so much for your help. I will do how you told me.
I wish you health and all the best!

You're welcome and you too.

I can't remember, is your website on your own domain name and are you getting any traffic? Or are you still very early on and just starting to build it out?

I have my own domain name but I am still at the beginning with 12 posts on my website, and the traffic is not that big so I can take a break to solve my problems and there to come back. It wouldn't be a big loss if I will lose my ranking because it is not that big yet.

Ok no worries, sorry to see you go, but make sure you say hi when you return :-)

After I will solve my problems, I will definitely return to WA and I will say "Hy" :-)

Hello WA. Is there any problem with Google XML Sitemaps or with SEO because it tells me that I should delete Google XML Sitemaps to prevent any conflict between this two. What

I dont think it will effect indexing... to he honest I am not 100% positive tho

Thank you for your advice. I followed your steps Triblu and I fixed it. Thank you.

Hey Lupea,

It is a way for All In One SEO pack plugin developer to gain more control over what plugins you use (which in my opinion, is NOT a good idea).

Here's what I shared on this very topic: and it resolves that awful nagging prompt from All In One SEO, as well as the conflict THEY caused by forcing their sitemap plugin to be installed.

In case you are wondering, I continue to use Google XML Sitemaps.

Hope you find this helpful.

i take it you don't like them Trish.
how come you have stuck with tem for seo and not gone with rank math or yoast...
phil

Hey Phil, I stick with what works and Kyle teaches what plugins to use for which purpose, so yes, I chose to listen to Kyle.

Am never a fan of any developer trying to push their products on my websites by forcing installation. That for me is going way too far.

i always think if i can get rid of a plugin as another will cover that job i will
so google xml went years ago for me - went over to all in one.
but looking at rank math as well

The All In One SEO pack sitemap has always been available. Pros have been saying their SEO plugin is superior to any other SEO plugin, but by using their sitemap you are not removing the need of another plugin as it is adding a plugin same as using the Google XML Sitemaps plugin.

it appears that all in one seo now has its sitemap module enabled by default
so you don't need t o add another plugin to create te sitemap.
so you can delete google sitemaps.
make sure you go through the all in one sitemap module to make sure it is setup for what you want indexed.
and you could resubmit your sitemap to search console
have fun
phil

If I backup my website and I cancel my monthly membership for a short period of time and then I come back, will I still have access on my website from the point I backup it?

Be sure you will come back soon. I hope you can settle your school works well.

This is a good Question. To my understanding, the answer is YES. but your website wont be active and able to get traffic during that time.

Thank you, I will spend one more month until that break and I really wanted to know that. I always thought that my website will be deleted forever after cancelling membership. :)

Glad you've decided to stay a little longer ;-) PM me before you leave next month, I might have a solution for you

Ok, Thank you

Going so soon :-(

WA SiteSupport backup your website, but I'd fire an email off to Kyle, seeing if they can do anything to help you.

But yes, if you backup your website yourself, you can either restore it to another WordPress installation on a 3rd Party, or here at WA when you come back.

All-in-One Wordpress Migration is a good plugin, unless you already have one in place.

Sorry to see you go, but be sure to say hey when you manage to come back :-)

Take care,
Chrystopher

Thank you for advice. I just want to take a break for some time because of school. But I will return as fast as possible to WA.

Are there differences between post and page? Which one is better to use on my website?

Read what Carson has to say about this subject

all good answers...

Only thing I have to add is .

Posts are part your blog-roll, categories and archive. In this way they are automatically linked together.

Pages are static. All linking between pages has to be done manually by yourself. i.e. through menus or internal links

Pages are good to organize your posts.

Say I've got 100 posts
I could maybe organize them into 10 sub categories or 10 posts.

This makes it easier for your viewers to find specific posts for what they're looking for without having to go through them 1 by 1

And should also help your bounce rate and sessions on analytics

a page doesnt have a comment section, where as a post has a comment section below

Pages are where you put your posts. Several posts can go on one page. Pages help with navigation through your website.

Is it better to incorporate in my post/page one keyword used 2 or 3 times, or to use 5 keywords used one time each?

I would say the first option, but you can be successful with either way!

Jeff

Thank you for your advice. I will take them into account and will use in my next post.

I use a focus keyword in my title, headings, body & url. But then I use a couple more in headings & body also.

Technically most of your article will be keyworded for SEO... to my understanding.

Therfore I use low hanging fruit as my focus or main keyword to get ranked under that keyword... which gives me a boost for my keywords within the article that have higher traffic and competition.

Try to find wierd phrases that dont make sense, then make them make sense.

For example:
"How education with world"

Has 0 competition, but has traffic easy to get ranked for with 0 competition.

Turn it into "How education with world wide web can be right for you"

Hi - you use one keyword per post. Add it to the title and include it once in the first paragraph and maybe once more in the post depending on if it looks natural. Then use a different keyword for your next post and repeat the process.
