What is the rule in using WA -ABC-

I have observed that automatic correctios does not work some times when you are checking for spelling, grammar, etc.on wa- ABC
This seem to happen after a broken sequence, the correction shows up, but clicking on it does not work.
Is there a rule or set procedure in using the WA tool?

There seems to be a glitch in the ABC when you click auto correct. May need to run it by the help center.

I am not too sure about that, it seem that breaking the sequence a few times creates the glitch. I have seen that complaint a few times but no answers. Thank you.
