What A Joy To Be Posting Again.
Yesterday was the first time since the hurricane that I was able to post content on all of my websites.
Even with the limited access to electricity and Internet I was able to solve all but one of the many issues i was facing.
My generator arrived on the Island yesterday along with 400 others, so hopefully I can get it released today and installed by weekend; and resume carving again.
The gallery is still without electricity and running water, however there is no point opening because there are no tourist on the Island and not likely to be for the next seven months; to compound the issue our tourist season ends at the end of April.
The truth of the matter is that our tourist season for 2018 will most likely be close to zero.
Thank God for Online business, our one glimmer of hope.
I continue to be impressed with the French and The Dutch efforts to help rebuild our twin Islands
Last night there was a report of the Dutch Red cross having a budget of 15 million Euros to help weih the rebuilding process. Hardly any news for Anguilla.
One more issue to solve today; having your email address compromised is no joke.

I feel so bad for everyone that has had to deal with this. I know so many have donated to such efforts and I can only hope the money is going to the right places.
However, I'm glad to hear that you're up and running again. Take care of yourself.

Hang in there....It can seem very lonely when you are in such straits, I have been there...But, if you can keep the lifeline of this place (and of course family, etc.) you can get through it....
It is darn rough though, and I am sure you are waking up thinking, this is not really happening...But, it is...I have thought, "Why me?"..."Why us?" ...
Those are the tough moments...
The good thing is that there are lifelines out there, and here you have one...This community is here to offer you support as you need, and no doubt you and many are suffering...
It is really hard to relate unless you have been in such a situation, but I feel I do relate, I feel, and I understand...Just stand resolute, and do not give up...
Things do get better...
