Time and Work Challenges

I wish I could go for long hours without sleep like Tony. There are increasing demands on my time.

The Art Gallery always had a website; but joining WA and building a website came about as a result of fear after an illness, and the possibility of being not physically able to work at what have been my passion for over 50 years.

Two of my websites could have been condensed into one, but I made an error in prematurely choosing a Domain Name. I will advise newbies to take their time, think carefully before choosing a domain name before building a website.

Wood carvings are my focus at present, but my wife is insisting that I return to ceramics, which I have not done in 2 years; This week 3 of my repeat customers came to the gallery and asked the same question my wife have been asking for over a year -When are you going to create more ceramics?

There is a shipment of clay from Miami that have been sitting in my studio for over 6 months, not one box have been opened.

Maybe I could sell one the websites, but do not have a clue how to do it, and what are the best prospects, or whether it is worth the effort. I read a blog recently of a member selling a website; which inspired the idea.

Can anyone please advise me as to the best chances of selling a website; so I can return to creating ceramics?

If keeping both websites is overwhelming then look for the sale. That was a discussion here before so you may find the answer how to go about getting your website sell within a past discussion. Just type it in the search bar.

As for your repeated customers asking about your ceramics? I think your wife put them up to that. Lol. Your passion is where you should go. Keep us posted on the outcome Courtney.

I'm sorry my wife is not that devious, she does not know the customers and they were from different continents and here on holiday. But her and 2 close friends who are also collectors has raised the issue at dinner.

Interesting question non the less, I wish you the best on your journey has an artist :).

I look forward to the answers, Courtney.

All the best
Mojalefa.

I also raised this concern in my comments in one of the posts here.

What responses did you receive, any worth sharing?

Flippa.com was suggested and I tried to visit but before you can sell your site you should pay first.

What do you mean, You have to pay the site first or you pay when they have found a buyer?

I don't know the term, as if it is like a deposit that an amount you pay before you can make a transaction to sell your site or domain.

Great question and I am looking forward to the answers. Have you Googled the topic of selling websites yet?
