Setting up Google Adsense
There are some disadvantages to living in a small or third world country; and our leaders are slow to confront the issues of doing business internationally.
First we could not shop online for years, finally the post office set up an American billing address and postal code that made is possible. The issue was our credit cards had to have a USA billing address.
Recently a Canadian friend had to use my wife's credit card to conduct a purchase online because the USA company would not accept a Canadian billing address.
I was finally able to have my Anguilla telephone number accepted by Google, because it is on record for verifying my email address; but it does not recognize the format of our Zip code which has a letter and 4 numbers as opposed to 5 numbers.-AI2640
You would think that the UN or World Trade Organization, or International Chambers of Commerce would address these problems;
Anguilla is still relatively unknown; it does not even appear on some lists of countries to choose from. Luckily it was among the Adsense list; but the zip code is not recognized.
What a Ting!

I still cannot believe in this modern age Anguilla is hardly recognized by the e-commerce world, based on its zip code!
You are only something like 4 miles away from St. Maarten, where tourism is booming!

The USA expects the world to conform one of our local banks cannot is due its customers a money draft because they no longer have a corresponding US bank. The rules on money laundering are do severe th st the banks are scared.so they run to Delaware
That is correct but the world is getting smaller,they just have to sort out the kinks.Corruption is the big bad word that is causing so much fear.
Did you read the story about the Australian banker and his corrupt practices for over a decade.Strengthens my conviction that Money is a serious unrecognized disease.
I can't imagine the frustration that would present to someone. I am truly sorry that this roadblock is in your way of making progress in W/A and elsewhere.
I checked the Adsense list of countries for western union and Anguilla is not on the list but there is a western union office on the Island.
I woke a few days ago and I had a small TIA through the night! A bit of a warning but I’m still sluggish on the left side.
Just doing a few messages and taking things easy! Although I had a good walk out earlier! The activity has helped.

Wayne I am sorry about that; I am prone to those, and they could be scarry; keep a close check of your blood pressure. I think sitting for long periods isn’t helping! BP 117/78 yesterday, so good in that department.
I usually walk 10 to 20 km per day but as I say to much computer my walking 5 to 10 km per day, I feel the difference.

I am sorry you are having to face this issues. I live in the US so I do not. And honestly I hadn't even thought about things like this being an issue. It sure does open someones eyes to what differences there are out there and how some things we find just easy and convenient may not be to someone else. I hope this gets worked out for you.
I know someone who starts work for Google next month ,I will ask him what can we do to fix it.I am not sure in which daparent he will be working.

Same here but the powers that be should have dealt with that long ago. I will raised the issue with the post office.
