Professionals on wa Platform

Yesterday I was happy to see an English lawyer/Solicitor on the WA platform; we seem to have the mindset to invite only people who are unemployed, dissatisfied with their 9 to 4 job and the wages/salaries.

Some of my professional friends pay large sums of money outsourcing the management and development of their websites.

Recently I was trying to introduce a lawyer friend of mine to WA, after she was complaining about having to negotiate cost with a developer; I was happy to be able to make a reference of the one lawyer and a doctor I recalled some time ago on the WA platform.

I have been trying for 2 years to persuade my close friend and doctor to join WA, I haven’t given up.

It is not an easy sell, but I am sure if they can see other professional on the wa platform; they might be persuaded.

It would be nice to get some feedback from members who are professionals.

I think you are quite right that we tend to target people who are unemployed or in dire straits. In those cases, we can easily see how Wealthy Affiliate can be of benefit to them.

Unfortunately, many of those who are in such a position can't afford to join up and work at building a site for a year before seeing results.

Many professionals can find value in WA, whether it be from extra money on the side, wanting to change careers, or even simply wanting to learn something new and create a "hobby" site based on what they enjoy.

When we take the attitude that professionals won't want or need to join WA, we are lacking confidence in the platform's value.

You are so right; many of the people I introduced WA to are hurting, but would love to join; they just can't afford it. As for professionals WA can reduce their expenditure and teach them a thing or two in the process.Thank for your feedback

It's hard to get real-life friends to join, for some reason they first want to see a couple of Ferrari's outside your door, the proof you can make a living from it doesn't seem to work. They rather stay on the 9-5 payroll ...

I still think if you can convince them that they can save money, especially in these difficult times; they might listen; as my friend did; That's why I would like to share some examples. How many examples of professionals have you met on WA?Nice to hear from you Loes.

I have met a few, but most of them are not active on this forum, they are busy with their businesses

I appreciate that comment; how can they be accommodated within the scheme of things;Personally I find it challenging to manage my websites and spend time in the different forums; Ranking becomes an issue. Has this discussion ever took place before?

Not that I know of, take a good look at the ranking, helper/contributor and you will find the successful WA-ers, with a lot of referral tasks;)

I just had a response from a professional ; and the question of being judged by the ranking surfaced. It will be hard for a professional whose focus is on business to rank highly; on the other hand wa is about referrals; how do you balance the act?

I don't, when I write blogs I go up, when I don't I go down. When I just am a helper, I go down

I understand perfectly, Do you have any thoughts on the subject?

Yes, but I keep them for myself;)
