Painful Experiences
When Hurricane Irma hit the Island I was in the process of confirming two substantial purchases for art from my website; we are still without electricity or Internet.
I am now borrowing limited service from a friend who is renting a wireless modem from the one of the servers.
I am overwhelmed with so many issues including charging devices, access to my website hosted at WA, protecting my electrical tools and equipment, and cleaning up debris from around the house; I have not been able to resume communications so far.
My activity at WA is sadly lacking and I will like to offer apologies for any delay in responding to notifications.
The recovery program on the Island is facing challenges due to unavailability of building materials and materials for the power company.
Something is going on around the world, Northern Ireland Is facing reality today with the approach of one of their strongest hurricanes n 50 years.
Let’s keep the faith and hope for the best and do our best to build a better world; we certainly need it.
St Martin just reported a projected unemployment figure of 65%; I’m sure ours is nearing 50% and the young people are leaving for the UK, but the youth there are over their heads in debt. What a ting!

Thanks Carol things seems to be moving slow i don't think Anguilla is receiving the help that is needed; we had a lot of damage but people are trying their utmost to clean up and recover.
Hello Courtney, I was in Jamaica when both Harvey and Irma ravaged several islands in the Caribbean. Fortunately for Jamaica it was not impacted. For those islands that were seriously hit, and I think of Barbuda and St Martin I feel for you. The positive out of all this is that you survived. But according to the 45th President of the United States of America, Climate Change is a hoax.
Glad you survived the hurricane. So sorry you’re dealing with such insanity though. Something is definitely happening around the world. Some are saying we are in the end of days hence all the catastrophe happening. Maybe they are right or maybe we’ve simply polluted the earth and our oceans to the point they are fighting back. Whatever the case I’m afraid this is only the beginning. Again glad you are safe and sound. Blessings and Prayers heading your way my friend.
All the islands hit by Irma, are living in great misery, I am so sorry they can not speed things up for you. And as you say, we do need to change our habits, because otherwise, more and more whether changing will take place, today, 16 of August, it's 25 degrees C in the Netherlands. Never measured before this time of year. Normally it's around 14 degrees.
These are serious warnings!
Yes i still cannot hear their radio stations, and that issue with the drinking water is a disgrace for the richest nation in the world.Will look it up Mike; Time is platinum.

I hear you load and clear Courtney, My daughter lived in Puerto Rico for many years but for the Grace of God she moved to Miami in June of this year.
My heart is will all my Latin American Family. Costa Rica has had floating for the last 7 years every year there is are Hurricanes Costa Rica gets the tail end of it and I don't know what is worse. being continually hit or one big one.
I was thinking on moving back there because of the economy here in Canada but we are being hit from everywhere no matter were we are living.
It feels fruitless with our health sites but I think we need to keep moving ahead those of us that are conscientiously aware can help those that are not.
The trails and tribulation that are to come are going to get worse not better. We can see better those that are aware. Awake up call maybe. But I think that happened on 9-11 stay strong there are a lot a prayer going your way and all those that are affected.
I have been hit in a different way and this is my first answer to all WA members in two months. I have not been able to work on my web site because of it but I am back and I will keep going because I know now that we are needed more then ever. Linda

You are so right but it could become a massive problem with no controlling it. There is the good bad and the ugly, will do and you too. Hold strong to the rod, the rod is the word of God. better safe then sorry Linda
