Beware When Taking Selfies
According to a recent report in The Telegraph UK,- globally there were 127 reported “selfie deaths “between March 2014 and September 2016.
What is alarming is the fact that over 60% of the deaths occurred in one country and that is India, surprisingly their neighbor Pakistan was second with 9 and America with 8.
I thought there might be a correlation between the number of devices per country and the recorded deaths. Not quite; China has more mobile units than India but they only recorded 4 deaths. India happens to be number two and America number three in respect to number of devices..
Maybe our Indian members could shed some light as to why the numbers in India are s high.
Current trends seem to reveal (a) The number of deaths are increasing.(b) Women take more selfies but men take more risks, therefore the numbers are higher among males.(c) Most deaths are under the age of 32.
The next time you wish to take a selfie, beware of your surroundings.

why doesn't that surprise you? I am concerned about the distractions at the workplace, I passed a government worker who was trimming hedges along the roadsiide sitting in the bush talking out loud on his mobile, another group of workers were laying underground cables, some were on the phones and i'm sure it was not to head office.
The Insurance premium for cars driven by a male between the 18 and 23 is way higher in the Netherlands than for a female because of their testosterone works overtime and their brain freezes at the same time.
Interesting! and there are no mass protests in this day of equality, I thought the -no claim bonus- would have taken care of that.
I've seen some pretty distracted women driving huge SUV's in the U.S that think they are driving fine. But then I learned defensive driving in the Marine Corps. We got some nut cases on the roads here.

I see so many morons on the road. When I got my license almost 40 years ago, my teacher said:"You just got your license to kill. Always remember that!"
I have trouble taking selfies but I thing I am pretty safe taking one. Look at the picture and give me your opinion.
theoretically that's not a selfie but a picture taken from a mirror with a polaroid ;) But nice one ;)
yeah polaroid and fujifilm have restarted that story, just with digital camera's that print it instead.
