5% VS 17% Success Rate

A blog was posted that suggested `statistics show only 5% of online marketers make money; the post went on to suggest the average for WA was 17%

Can someone please verify if there is any semblance of truth in those statistics.

Judging from my experience so far, I am inclined to believe that one `requires a certain level of expertise to achieve a worthwhile level of financial success in online marketing.

``This places the experts at a distinct advantage; but we must ask ourselves how long did it take the experts t achieve their level of expertise.

Most trained professionals take an average of three to four years of study to graduate.

WA has a course of training in the certification, courses, the affiliate boot camp courses and Jays training alongside some sideline training from the community.

How long do you think it would take a WA student to graduate in order to earn a level of financial success.

Some of us might not reach the required level of expertise, Would it help if that missing expertise could be available at a reasonable price?

What part does drop-outs play in the statistics? You can't graduate if you do not finish the course.

Even when you have graduated, you still have to keep up to date with an ever-changing technology.

Assuming the figure of 17% is close to the truth, ; What can we do to at least double those figures`? I am positive we can do it.

Do you have any ideas?

"Can we adopt my high school motto translated -Nothing is too difficult for me.

However you look at the picture, WA is still the best University

There is no way to determine the success rate here, as there is no way to track it, and different people view success differently.

For some people success is 1 sale, for some it is building a website in the first place, for some it is achieving a certain level of traffic, and for some it could be $100K/mth. So success isn't an event and it means different things to different people.

In saying, success rates are much higher here at WA versus "doing it on your own" simply because you have access to the proper training, tools, services, hosting, websites, coaching and support you need to achieve success.

If someone is willing to work for it and give themselves adequate time, success will be inevitable. Everything they need to accomplish this is here at WA, but ultimately it is up to themselves and their hard work if they want to actually achieve it.

Excellent questions Courtney. The 17% that WA quotes is a "catchall" involving many factors, and it might also be skewed toward certain factors we are not privy to.

Great post I think that when people are making money online through WA that is great but the percentage could be wrong. It could be higher we don't know about the true percentages. With all the training we get from WA we all should be making money and we will as long as we are persistent and determine and I think that everyone in WA is that.

When it comes to money my motto is always "I'll take that"!

The lower rating seems likely, though I've no knowledge of this survey.
I do know that employment studies have shown that 5%
of people will perform at a top level in jobs they undertake...as we know so much must be figured into the dynamic I.e. Work ethic, work environment, outside life circumstances, health, etc.

I think of the study, that more emphasis may be put to actual
monetary gain and not overall understanding and expertise.

... so the percentage of knowledgable people would appropriately be much higher.

Also, the discussion of whether a unique or timely niche selection has better chance of competing for these percentages has to considered.

My own creative writing niche would not necessarily
drive a broader interest as say Football snack helmets. Then again my intention or goal in building this platform is not necessarily to compete for percentage we are referring...indirectly yes, but not with intention.

So I will encourage to a much larger percentage of peoples "Please follow your dream". You know why you are in this and what we enjoy here is the organized platform for creating and moving toward that inspiration...Go there. Be brilliant!

Respectfully David

The discussion is focussing on financial success. I think most of us are here to improve eanrings.

Good question. I think we have all heard those figures. Part of it being willing to take the time to learn and to put in the work. And as we all know there is a lot to learn and it takes a lot of work. More work than I expected. So, we would need to know a lot of information behind the numbers.

I have seen so many new schemes claiming to be short cuts to success but can you trust them; it shows there is more money to be made by selling you the scheme than the scheme itself.

absolutely

Interesting question Codevonish

Based on my experience, I would say the 5% for online marketers per se is closer to say 3%

Now that figure is based on the individual following and applying what they are shown and taught, according to the venture they are with

As for the WA % I have no idea, I've not been here long enough to see proof of that, but have read what others post and as they 'say' the figures come from trusted sources, accept it at facevalue.

The caveat is this of course, as you quite rightly say, you have to continue your PD, that never stops, and its how you apply that training, which determines your success

Success can be determined in a number of different ways, but focusing on the monetry part as thats what I look at myself

I know a couple of net willioanires personally, I know of at least 3 NAME owners who have made 7 figures plus and in all cases they work smart hard, not hard

The average joe might only be happy with a couple of grand a month, as its the same as they were earning from a day job

So its all relative

From my own perspective, I have been successful since I started and earn very nicely, with a comfortable life style to go with it... However I still 'work' as it were, because I don't see it as work

Does that help a bit

I assume they is a typo but how did they make their millions, from affiliate programs?

They is not a typo and yes they did, purely from affiliate programmes.

One a close friend of mine, promotes only affiliate ventures and not himself at all, but made $3.4 Million from one we were in togther

From another now defunct Blog affiliate venture, he was earning around $275,000 Per Year

I won';t name them all, but yu get the idea, all of them are verified as well

Willioanires?

Yeah, I'm wondering too and also, what is considered success - making a commission, making a lot of commissions?

You probably posted a target amount at the very beginning, how does that target look today? It looks like most of the big earners are selling how to make programs. We are all consumers what about how to help each other make it .WA is in a position to create history if we all share our ideas.

Based on my 4 years experience the real number for WA is 8%-12%. But for unknown reason mine dropped to 5% since December 2017.

Good reply Rufat

You have hit the benchmark -4 years.look back at those first figures;how close are you to the target figure?

I would love to know where and how they get those statistics and who gets them! They seem unrealistic, since there are billions online and everywhere you turn, people are earning an income. Some great things to ponder here! Only 17% make money at WA?---I don't think so!! Thanks for all you thoughts!

Don, forget many drop out. You can't earn if you do not stay the course. But the figures warrants careful analysis
