Quality versus Quantity in Getting Referrals At WA
It is ironic that after posting here how ecstatic I am generating 4 referrals in one day, and friends are congratulating me that I am picking up momentum, the following day I got ZERO. lol
But on the third after the ecstatic post, it went up again to two in a day.
Amazingly, looking through the stats, traffic was lower compared to that day when I got zero referrals. So, this shows having high traffic to your referral links in Wealthy Affiliate does not always mean higher referral rate.
Quality versus quantity. Maybe. lol
I'm really not sure of it, as the only tracking device we have here is that simple stat table we have and that bare graph with pink, maroon, and blue lines going up and down like Bitcoin's price. lol
As the saying goes, "If ain't broke, don't fix it", and so I won't. I won't fix anything, and just continue what I'm doing... like advertising my WA banner in IBO Tool Box, sharing good posts here to Facebook and Twitter, things like that.
Because...
It's too early to judge whether the banner ads aren't effective, or it's Twitter traffic that's a winner. Also, too early to judge which of these free members are serious and who among them are just playing around.
So, grinding continues...

That's so great that you have daily organic traffic to your WA links. And yes, for referrals, the key is targeted traffic. But if you are getting this from SEO and it's free you should just continue what you are doing now and it will increase with time. Amazing!

Sounds like you are putting the cart before the horse. In training it is pointed out to ignore your stats and don't keep looking everyday, it will drive you crazy! Be patient when the time is right you will know.

I didn't say to ignore the stats. Just don't check them everyday. It will drive you Crazy trying to figure it out one day and then bam next day they have changed.
Of course keep building your site and maybe give yourself 2 weeks and then check your stats!

Are these raw links being listed in your blog or being posted in forum ? Do you run any ad to tie raw links?
Yes, I run ads in many parts of the internet. Mixed.
Good sharing Gomez. Hopefully I have the Linda of skills you have as I get my into a lot of cash burnt out when I ran ad and let ran without monitoring - that’s why I am a bit skeptic SL in running ad now but never did I know most of the affiliate marketer - really have breakthrough when they ran ad.
I will try to pick up this skills in future - hopefully the training g WA able to help me.
Would you know if there is a training that help someone like me to know how to run their own ad for the first time in an eff drive manner - if you know, if not don’t worry.

There may be lessons out there, but honestly, mine is through personal experience mostly. We learn from experimenting, and like you said, if you are not careful with experiments you risk burning a lot of cash. So, be careful if you do some experiments with advertising.
Gomez - I would encourage up to put up a training if anything that s effectivr is managing the aspect of running an ad with results- but of course that maybe something not in your priority at the moment - however the need of having a good training on runnng a successful ad works well towards successful making an income online aside from blogging.
As I believe blogging is just par of the nature to hustle your targettd audience to your fishing net. Once you get their attention from your blogging - it will starts to convert. (Human by nature normally likes to read a lot and enjoy the experience to know something hiding behind the result of a good blog site)
So your running a successful ad or having a nice bait would definitely put them into your fishing net.
