How Am I Supposed To Live Without You?
I was watching a lyric video of Michael Bolton's song, "How Am I Supposed to Live Without You", when I remember that former member of WA who's now blogging on his own.

The Guy
He used to be a top member here, probably an Ambassador, until he decided to leave WA and do things on his own. (I will not mention his name, he's been banned from here)
I landed in his blog after searching for a negative review about WA. Yes, I searched for a negative review in Google to justify my decision of leaving this community.
If you guys can recall, my recent blog here was full of rants.
His posts indeed convinced me that WA isn't perfect, but not enough to finally pull me away from here.
I thought, "If I leave WA, how am I going to update myself about the trends in blogging and SEO? And what about blog comments? How will I get them?"
Blog comment syndication groups in Facebook? Oh, their comments are not that unique. Actually, their comments are like spam comments. Or, just praise comments.
Didn't even come close to what we have here.
Now, back to the guy... (the former WA member)
That guy's excellent writing skill probably is helping him to still get comments in his posts. Of course, if you write well and your content is of real interest, then naturally.. people will leave comments.
But what about me? Admittedly, I am not as good as these high flying bloggers who naturally attract readers and commenters.
(That skill is something I have yet to develop and perfected, the writing skill)
I can imagine, with my fledgling writing, if I do it alone (like what the guy did), how am I going to attract hordes of readers to leave comments in my blog?
And aside from blog comments that are vital to SEO, there are other things in here that I am going to miss should I decide to leave this place. (The sweet people in here!)
So, with that thinking, with that music video that I was watching, I decided to stay.

Very nice and wise decision for you to stay here.
I think that tough decisions will always be present in our lives, but how we respond to them makes the difference between winners and losers
Also, when I look at succesful people every one of them have some sort of coaching and support.

Yes, they do.
Why?
No matter how much successful you are, you will always needed coaching and support, because there is always something new you can learn or just to stay in form.
All the same applies to your business
Someone have personal trainer, someone have book, someone have thair closest family for support and someone have community like this one. :)

When you said you were going to leave. I thought I wouldn't leave a comment because you weren't going to come back and read it so I didn't.
I remembered reading somewhere that this is your second time being back? There's so many people coming and going and coming again. If it wasn't you I'm sorry. There's so many people here. :)
I was thinking wow coach is quitting. My opinion is if the coach leaves his team then who's to learn from? Who's to keep the team going?
I may not comment all the time but I do read everything. Yes, from your ranting and ideas to your accomplishments. You taught me a lot. :D

Glad you are staying. I agree, WA is not perfect, but they strive toward that perfection more than any other place I know. They constantly try to improve, and the decisions they make are with us in mind. Sometimes, that means upsetting individuals who don't get what they want, but if they step back and take a look, they see that things are done for the community as a whole.
I have an idea of whom you are speaking, and if I am correct, then I can understand why he has a bit of a negative view. I don't think he should have been banned necessarily, but at the same time, he was breaking some of WA's rules for his own advancement. Nothing against him, but some of his actions were impacting other members, so...
For me personally, I can't imagine a itme when I would ever leave WA. Even if I am successfully earning a full-time salary on my own, I will stay. Even if I am earning 2, 3 or 4X what I consider a good salary, I will stay. In fact, I will be even more inclined to stay because at that point I will be able to (hopefully) help to inspire people and guide them on their way.
I felt sad for what had happened to me. But then, there are consequences for every action, and he got them.
With regard to not getting what we want here, well, expanding our perspective really helps. When I distanced myself from here for a while, I see things in place. I can see, "Oh, these was just little things that I don't like which I am going to trade-in for other big things that I like." I weighted everything and saw good things here outweighed negative things.
It wasn't just your heart, but also your mind who told you to stay - so now you know for yourself much better that before what is the right solution!

I think your making the eight choice, when you need to leave or are ready to leave, you won't have a doubt about it. It'll happen naturally because your business will evolve and over come you in a good way, and you will know that your business and you are truly ready for the next level!
It has been a wise decision. Congratulations and let's continue together until we reach the goal here in WA.
