Getting Into The Higher Ground
I just came from the blog posts of Kyle and other money makers here in Wealthy Affiliate. Kyle just posted something about cryptocurrencies and he shed some light.
With lessons that I learned from reading their posts fresh in my head, I decided to do a blog post here so that it won't be forgotten.
I noticed a pattern in how this battle in "make money online" niche is being won, especially with our top affiliates doing WA Bootcamp:
"They are positioning themselves in a higher ground."
For a better shooting position?
Nope.
It's more on spiritual.
Spiritual battle.
Something about "moral".
I remember what my uncle told me while watching the then US President George Bush, when they launched Operation Iraqi Freedom. I asked my uncle, "Why are they doing that? Is that against any existing laws pertaining to sovereignty of a nation?"
My uncle replied...
"They (the U.S.) think they have the higher ground. The higher moral ground. Do you still remember those words in our church hymnal? 'The Higher Ground' ?..."
That taught me something...
When you have established yourself against the enemy as though you have the higher moral ground, and that according to moral laws you are the one "correct" and the other is in a lower position, then you've assured winning the battle by 70%.
Enemy will be bothered by their conscience thus affecting their morale while your troops will be inspired thinking "We're doing something noble." (noble, heroic deeds)
While reading the reviews, I can see battles being fought. And I can guess the feeling of those marketers whose companies are being reviewed. The feeling of hostilities.
But, our warriors in Wealthy Affiliate are fully convinced "we have the light".
That's why in every post, there's that final conclusion that the other program is shady, and that readers should check our #1 recommendation, which usually is Wealthy Affiliate.
But to just blankly say Wealthy Affiliate is the best without backing up with a good explanation, that's like telling your opponents "We have the light. We have the right.. to defeat you because we have evidences you possess WMDs..." but if you don't have any proof.. soon your cause will be lost.
So, it is important that when we do reviews, we back it up with facts that we indeed is the best...
...Impressive explanation of what we have here (especially for premium members), the excellent training, the excellent website builder, and the loving community that we have here.
I can guess what the top earners in WA think when they did those reviews.
"Ours is better, far better than other online income opportunities out there."
We occupy the higher grounds.

True. And you also need the facts and your experience for your own understanding and to back up your morals. Else your review is just full of empty words
I agree. In my case, if I say WA is the best it is because I haven't tried other than WA. No point of comparison. But WA is better than the scammers I've known.
Tapping into the knowledge base and utilising the resources that we have available certainly give us many opportunities, thanks for the reminder, Gomer.
Wonderful analogy, super-important topic. So many people have been deceived getting into scams and lost their money.There are much fewer "Get -rich -in- a- day "offers now. One can easily see this.People become more knowledgeable in this respect, and WA sure is a mighty player on this ground.:)
