Are we allowed to use WordddderrxxddxddxPress multisite?

Tried that months ago. Anyhow everything is just a click or two away when it comes to making changes from site to site.

Not on WA hosting. If you are after a multisite, you need to seek another hosting. WPMUDEV or SiteGround.

Does it make sense to create individual posts for top ranking keywords that are very similar?

For example, would you use all of these or just some of them since the posts

Just make sure they are all different enough in content. Don’t recommend the same products in two of them

Thank you!

It is better to write one post, otherwise, you will have to write the same article 4 times.

It certainly does, but there are other very good answers here as well!

Jeff

it does make sense - but not one after the other -maybe leave a few posts between them - they are similar but not the same as you can use different books in the new baking books to the best baking books
have you thought about different types of baking and gong through the same process...
good luck
phil

I'll look into that Phil. Thanks for your input!

Yes it makes sense if you can write different articles for each title

Thank you so much! I just wanted to be sure.

You are very welcome

Are we allowed to offer technical services to other members to fix their website issues? After trying to help a few people I noticed that it would be easier for me to fix their

You can help people for free, certainly - that's what the community here is all about.

As for payments, that's a big no-no. Here at WA the goal is to build a community that helps each other, the "pay it forward" mentality... Not people here only looking to help for a monetary reward.

If you would like to offer paid help to people, you should do it through a third-party services marketplace.

Fiverr is a good place for this, as it is Global as well, it also includes safety measures for non-deliverability etc.

Sure is! :)

I'm not looking to profit off of anyone here at WA. My point was that I have helped several people here take the long road to fixing minor issues that are of a cosmetic nature which distracts them from producing quality content. It would be nice to offer them a quality solution.

And again, I'm not looking to profit off of anyone.

I have had similar occasions like this, and the rules below, partially 18 & 19 would prohibit this I also had a similar question whereby if a member offers to pay you, rather than you requesting payment, you can find that discussion here In my 6 months here, I have logged on to numerous members websites to fix their issues, but all free of charge, as it is just easier sometimes. Unfortunately, I can no longer do this for members who are not my referrals, as it is too time-consuming.

It would be great if there was an internal market place created, whereby members could receive a trust rating etc.

Should a member find my website outside of WA, then I do have services on there that they can purchase, just as any member of the public can. But I do not have it linked to from WA as I do not want to break the rules.

It would be great to hear what others have to say on this topic again :-)

A marketplace would be fantastic! To know that I could trust the person I hired would save me a ton of money. I use Fiverr sometimes but over the years I've noticed that many of the reviews can no longer be trusted. I've also had experiences where some of the vendors will beg for good ratings even though there work is not good.

I see many simple fixes that can be made and I can do some of them for free but with a limited amount of time I can't help everyone. I'd love to work with other WA members because we have the same goals and dreams.

Great suggestion.

Exactly my thinking, and I am 100% inline with Dale, that this is a Pay it Forward community, and we should not be here for financial gains from other members. But where it requires more than just describing how to do something, then technical services could be offered, the kind that fall outside of SiteSupport. Also, there are members here who are great at graphic design, and designing logos or images for other members, as we all have the same goals, would be beneficial to all parties involved. Unfortunately though, to keep the community as it is, I don't think Kyle & Carson will go with it.

I think we can do anything for anyone we like as long as it's free.

I'd say totally up to you. But I don't think we are allowed do it on the platform.

Again if you want to charge for your services, that's up to you.

I think I setup the All In One SEO plugin correctly by following the video lesson but now I'm not sure. When I visit my site and list my posts I see that the seo title and desc

You need to fill in your self.

Only if you want to override the default calculated values.

The default SEO Title will be complied by the Page/Post Title and your Site Title

The default SEO Description will be compiled from the first 160 characters of the Excerpt Field or the first 160 characters of your page/post content

The All in One SEO will auto populate those fields (behind the scenes) unless you have added entities to them manually. Only the manual entries will be shown, so where it says no value, you can safely ignore this and just follow the training :-) It will save you a lot of time by getting your content right, rather than editing these fields manually. Far too many members are adding values to these fields and it is NOT required :-)

That is a BIG relief. I thought that's what the training was saying but then I wasn't sure. Thanks for the peace of mind!

You’re welcome :-)

All you have to do is activate. The fields you are referring to are found if you scroll on down below your blog when you have it open to work on it.

Yes I see those fields but I thought the SEO plugin was going to auto-generate that content.

No it doesn't.

It does yes, but behind the scenes. You do not have to add any values to this section, as the plugin will deal with this for you ;-)
