Well, there ya go!
Just when I'm at the lowest I've been in a while,
I bounce up a bit. I started the week with the wonderful note that I've achieved Ambassador rank. It wasn't really a goal, but certainly a welcome nod to what I've been doing here. It is a great honor!
Then, as my children's favorite story character,
Alexander would say "I had a horrible, terrible, no good very bad day!". I made the mistake of blinking and looking down. Bad idea. It took me a little while to get over it, but I did.
I've always believed that the harder you fall, the higher you'll bounce.
So on the way back from my horrible day, I wrote 'Rome' yesterday.
This community is amazing! The response, comments and feedback on that single post had me in tears of gratitude as I read them.
I know I'm not alone in my feelings of being on this journey. While it may be frustrating, maddening even, it is also rewarding beyond words and dollars.

This morning, I wake up to a note from Kyle that I am back among Ambassador status. Who'da thunk? I had it for a few days and then went down again. Then, this morning... I'm back! Seriously unexpected, but most welcome start to the morning. A wonderful reminder that down is not out.
I may not have had a $1k day...yet. It will happen. But the best thing about it is that it will happen while I'm on a journey with the best bunch of folks I could imagine hanging out with. As my dear friend, Clarence, the Angel, might say, 'No man is a failure who has friends.' (It's a Wonderful Life)
And with y'all on my side, I count myself among the richest, most blessed girls around!

Christine, I think so many of us can relate to the ups and downs, especially during the holidays. I'm so glad you have your rank back but if it does go down again, don't lose heart. You are amazing in your own right and you are so much further ahead than so many of us so keep the faith.

I too feel honored to be a part of this wonderful bunch of people.
I haven't been here for the past two days now. Have had a wicked stomach virus.
I am slowly making my way back today from the virus and to the community.
We will all have horrible days now and again but I'm sure we'll all be there to look after one another.
