The harder I fall, the higher I bounce!
Oh, that elusive concept called success!
You work so hard and so long. You learn so much, yet you just aren't quite there.
You can see it. You can smell it. You want it sooooo bad! You reach out for it, but it keeps slipping just that much further away.
You work and work and not getting there yet... you throw your hands in the air and say 'screw it!'
I can't do this. It's too hard. I'm just not smart enough. I'm not techie enough! Success is for other people, just not for me.
Walking away is easy to do. Just call it a day! You tried. You failed. You fell off the horse. Move on! But to what? Did you really fail?
Success ain't always easy. Sometimes it takes time. You have to earn it. You have to want to cross the finish line more than you can you are frustrated with the time or effort that takes to get there.
You know you only fail when you quit. So fail forward. You will surely know more than when you started and be much closer to your ultimate goal than when you started. And that is huge!! That, in itself is success!
Get back on your horse. Take a deep breath. Close your eyes and envision what you want to achieve. How does it feel? How do you feel about yourself? How will you celebrate that sweet victory?
Now, get back on your horse and give it another go!
There will be obstacles. There will be challenges. Are you going to let them stop you from achieving your goals and dreams? Well, are you?!
No! No! A resounding nope!
You're made of stronger stuff than that! You win! As long as you do what you need to do, stay the course, go through the training. Don't give up and stay in the game.
I've learned, over time, that the harder I fall, the higher I bounce. The energy of falling seems to give me more momentum and focus to come up and come back stronger and higher than I started. Every time. So I've learned after lots of falls, to accept the fall and the lessons learned with it, knowing that an amazing bounce is just around the corner.
Just remember that you aren't alone and we're all here to help along the way however we can and cheer your successes as they occur.
Celebrate the small wins. They lead you to the bigger wins. And there's never been a better time!

Thanks for sharing. We know ‘it is easy said than done’, as the saying goes. We face different challenges.
Many times I have reached that point of throwing in the towel.
But I have always stopped when I couldn’t convince myself that I did my best, that I gave it all.
It is easy to find an excuse. But then what?

Wow Christine, how did you do that? I was just having a discussion with another member on just topic. There are a lot of things I don't get, but know what? I get up and keep on plugging away and taking small steps, feeble tho they be, towards the goal of "getting it". Spot on my friend.
