Milestones and stepping stones

Since August 29...

My journey with WA started with my being completely less than clueless, knowing less than nothing about affiliate marketing. Since then, I've moved along in the lessons, still a long way to go and a whole lot to learn. I have to be honest...some of the technical posts I've seen could just as well be in Greek. I don't have a clue what they are talking about. But I will some day.

But today is day #43 and in that time, I have hit some pretty important (to me) mile stones.

I have consistently posted with 41 blogs posted witin the WA community. This is #42.

Manyof those have been in the top 10.

My rank has gone from #285k something to #83. It may go higher. It may not. It's ok. But it is fun to watch the numbers change and it's not hurting my feelings.

The network has grown from 0 to 530 and counting. In my wildest dreams, I never anticipated that anybody would really be interested in my musings. I'm not used to getting compliments. It feels very good to have anything that I've done be of value or help to somebody else.

I am following 1200+ of my fellow WA adventurers. What amazing stories and lives y/all have lead. So incredibly accomplished. I am completely in awe of y'all!

I have made some really wonderful friends from all over the world and am having a blast. Long ago in high school I dreamt of people knowing me around the world. Son of a gun! That dream has come true...in all of my professional endeavors - and I really wasn't something that I was consciously pursuing.

But most importantly, I am learning skills that will become stepping stones to an incredible future and financial freedom for my family and creating a legacy that will take us forward.

And that I get to take this incredible journey with you is the biggest blessing. To be able to succeed, have people genuinely be happy for your success is so rare in today's world. More often than not, it's a 'do unto others before they do unto you' game in the office today, where being successful is often met with jealousy and there can be only one who reaches the top.

Not in WA World! And thank God for that! We can all succeed to what ever degree we wish. I sincerely love checking in with folks and congratulating them on the accomplishments they've hit, whether it's a first sale, first post, rank, or what ever. I love to cheer my friends.

But I haven't sold anything!

Nope. Haven't made a dime...yet! Not worried about it either. I will. The web site is coming along. It's been indexed by Google, a good first step. Content is in process that will build the foundation and should begin to be posted consistently to enable the page to rank and get some traction. Web site #2 is being designed, so those goals will be met, maybe not by the 15th, but by the end of the month.

And I'm slowly getting the hang of this and becoming more comfortable with the business side of things. It will come together.

I feel like I'm off to a pretty good start! Still running my own race. Thank you Kyle & company for creating this incredible world we work in and to creating such an incredibly safe and nurturing culture.

And to those who are following this journey with me, your posts and kind words inspire me daily. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, skills and wisdom. Here's to continuing on our path and to celebrating the milestones as we reach them.
